for what its worth...you are currently posting in the Magenta lounge... I saw that as the sub forum choice and figured that gramps28 was correct, that they just haven't updated it ☺️
The new Arcadyan Gateway is being shipped but maybe you might be careful what you wish for. The TMO-Report page is a good place to keep up with things. The web interface of the Arcadyan GW is less capable than the Nokia GW so it is a mixed bag. Is it better than the Nokia? Well, time will tell. https://tmo.report/2022/02/how-to-see-what-bands-your-t-mobile-arcadyan-gateway-is-using/ Thank you for this!
Does anyone know when the new/upgraded gateway is coming out? Or has it already? Already available. https://www.t-mobile.com/support/devices/get-to-know-your-arcadyan-kvd21-gateway Thank you!
Physically go to a store. They have stores all over the place. The phone reps are useless and they lie. I got the same mouthful. Oh well pay off your devices, $1000 per line! Never told I had to pay first and I'd be reimbursed. And the process to get reimbursed?? Omg. That was a nightmare in itself. I don't call them anymore. I have a store I physically WALK INTO to ask my questions now. That way I know 100% I won't be lied to.
Have you tried physically going to a T-Mobile location and seeing if they can assist there? I ported my family's lines back in November and I've had nothing but garbage since then. I gave up on calling customer service because I'd wait on hold 45 minutes only to talk to someone who would say they understood my frustrations; more often than not spoke broken English; would have me on the phone another hour-and-a-half, only to find the matter still hadn't been resolved... No. Our local store knows the phone reps are incompetent and do whatever they can to make each transaction as smooth as possible. I walk in there and ask them all kinds of questions. I'd rather drive 15 minutes out of my way in a pandemic than listen to more BS and have even more of my time wasted by those people on the phone! Oh I'm all fired up now, lol.
The biggest mistake I made was switching my service to T-Mobile via phone. Every mistake made and every lie told, has been via phone. I suggest strongly that you visit your local T-Mobile store and try to speak with the manager on duty there, or try to schedule a time to meet with them. There might be something they can do to get the ball rolling for you because where I'm located at least, they know how incompetent the phone reps are. I feel your frustration 100%!!
