Click on the internet connection in your taskbar, right click on properties and then click on “Connect automatically when in range”.
Did you try admin and the original pw on the bottom of the gateway?
Is it an old device? Some of these can’t work with WPA2 or WPA3 but do work with WPA. The Nokia GW by default is set for WPA2/WPA3 but can be changed to WPA/WPA2.
I just did it yesterday for my Nokia GW, but did not use the app. I instead logged in to 192.168.12.1. I got a Wyze robot vacuum that doesn’t work with 5G.
You only need battery power if you want to walk around with it and check signal strength in different locations. Otherwise, you don’t need the battery power, so ignore it.
Go to promotions.t-mobile.com and click on Check your submission status.
Do a factory reset. It should then use the pw printed on the bottom of the gateway which you can change if you want.
Indoors, have you tried next to a window that faces the closest tower?
On the Nokia, I can adjust it after logging into 192.168.12.1 . By default, its set to wpa2/wpa3.
Do you have any streaming devices that don’t get power from the TV’s usb port? Those can keep streaming even after you turn off the TV.
> the Nokia is better per review of the manual (has 3 LAN ports vs. 2 LAN ports on Arcadyan and Sagemcom). My Nokia GW has two ethernet ports.
I can still login to 192.168.12.1 on the Nokia GW and change settings. Which one do you have?
Did you shut off your TV without stopping your streaming device?

> I wonder if I can apply it to my T-Mobile bill next month. That’s exactly how I used mine. It’s gone in one transaction. Autopay automatically skipped that month.
I overlapped for a couple of weeks so that I could take my time switching all my devices over to t-mobile. My final switch was replacing my router with a switch for my ethernet. Then with nothing left on Spectrum, I pulled the plug on the cable modem and called to cancel Spectrum. Retentions noticed my modem was disconnected and that I was ready to leave and so didn’t hassle me much with new offers.
Go to promotions.t-mobile.com and “check your submission status”. I did this and my rebate was ready to use so I used it to pay my t-mobile bill.
It more than likely needs to connect to the 2.4GHz WiFi band with WPA encryption. My Nokia gateway has the option to change from WPA2/WPA3 to WPA/WPA2. You have to login at 192.166.12.1 go to network, wi-fi networks, 2.4GHz, select encryption mode.
I created an account on twitter and sent a private message to @tmobilehelp and they sent me a new code that worked.
