I have had tremendous success with Small Claims Court, Airlines and Lowes. All of these companies called me just before the court date and settled for my full asking price. They don’t want to tie up personnel that know a lot less about the facts than you do.
My Nokia. Activated 16 days ago. Speeds up to 650 during the 15 day trial. Now 1.5 unless I keep resetting. Speed goes up to 200 after reset. It’s like they are giving people on the 15 day trial the fastest speeds. Wish I didn’t disconnect my slow but reliable DSL.
ATT has the same requirement. I got an IPHONE X several years back. Big combined rebates between Costco and ATT. New line required. The language clearly stated I can’t make ANY changes to my plan before 90 days. I waited the full 90 days plus an extra 2 weeks. Got my rebates.
Fuzzy Nations. You said they put you on a BOGO deal. After a bad trade in experience with ATT, 5 years ago, I’m leery about trading in a good phone and having them later tell me my phone is no good. It was still under AppleCare and was turned in and inspected at the store. Took over 4 months to resolve. I was thinking a BOGO deal may be best. How was that handled?
I went to the Apple Site for the ™ Apple joint promo. Apple said my Iphone qualifies for an $ 800 rebate. After filling out information, the final page came up, before clicking order. It indicates a minimum payment of $ 400 immediately. It I get an $ 800 credit on an $ 800 phone, why? It seems like an excellent deal.
After reading these, and based on my experience ordering Home Internet, I’ll switch to ™ without any promos. No free phones or rebates. Then I can cancel any time. Then I can go back to ATT as a new subscriber and get both benefits. They are more expensive, but great customer service. I’ll keep myTm internet, for now.My bad taste experience. 10 days ago, I activated Home Internet. I made it clear to the phone rep I wanted the discounted bundle. She kept changing the subject. She then, after I kept asking, said I’d receive promotional E Mails. No such thing. I called back 2 days later, spoke to someone who never heard of the bundle discount. Okay fine. I’ll keep the internet for now, switch to ™ phone service, without any contractual offers, and then switch back to ATT when eligible for new subscriber benefits. i may keep the ™ internet, since ATT hasn’t yet installed fiber in my condo complex. It’s unfortunate, because the ™ plans are better priced, and meet our needs. It’
To fire guy. You are probably correct. if so, then my fault. I took the free 90 day network pass to check my reception. I then verified by online that I was eligible. I was interested in switching both phone and internet service and wasn’t sure if the promo was over. My click took me to a phone number. It was a legitimate ™ number as I received my gateway 2 days later. Oh well $ 50. I’ll be more careful next time. That said, today, ATT just went up $ 9 on my grandfather phone plan, which I was told would never go up. Now $ 123 for 3 phones, for 12 GB total. That includes my affiliate discount. I will be leaving ATT. I’ll probably do it during the Thanksgiving - Christmas holidays, when amazing deals come up.Food for thought. The phone companies benefit the most with grandfather plans. You stay with the company, and are ineligible for the best phone deals.I’ve been with them for 12 years, no free phones, only use 6 GB between three of us. Now ATT is trying to psh everyone
No I don’t. ™ has multiple web sites. I was interested getting both ™ phone service and internet, with the discount on the internet. I hit the link and the new screen said to call CS. I did, and the rep changed the subject every tine I mentioned the bundle discount. I activated the internet, and said I would receive info via email on the promotions. Nothing came. I called a few days later and again, another overseas CS. He never heard of the bundle promos, and couldn’t find it on the web. It’s all over the web. Is it still in effect? It may have been a holiday only promo.I have the impression that ™ operates a CS system of freelancers that get a commission, or larger commission, by not disclosing information on discounts. I’m serious. Every web page is different, and you may be clicking expired information.
$ 50 promo. Home internet. Web site advertised $ 50 prepaid visa for getting Home Internet. I did, it’s great, but when I tried to apply, it asked for the promo code. It’s said it’s near the bottom of the bill. It’s not. When I clicked promotions, it said none. It also said, no device promo, no service promo. Overseas CS claims they don’t know about a promo. I intend keeping the service anyway, but I won’t switch my phone service to ™. The supposed much larger prepaid visas may never come.
Though DSL is reliable, I’m getting 350 to 450 mbps on ™ vs 30 mbps on DSL. During peak use, at 7 PM, it drops to 200 mbps. We stream multiple programs at the same time. DSL was fine before we switched from satellite to streaming.I just think that ATT is really gouging its DSL customers with constant price increases on DSL. Just jumped again to $ 75. That’s for 30 mbps.I’m staying with ATT for cellular. After the recent blackout. I’m afraid of being cut off if I have everything with ™.
The T&C states that the Home Internet discount can’t be stacked with other offers or promos such as Price Lock. So I would think the answer is NO.
Small claims court is your friend. I filed numerous justifiable suits against airline companies, and Lowes. They have always called me to settle for the full amounts. For the amounts you are talking about, do you really think they will tie up personnel to go to court?
