Why doesn't T-Mobile provision Sony Xperia phones with Wi-Fi Calling abilities to use the feature? Is it a hate thing??? From what I hear, the phones work on WiFi calling when on Mint Mobile, Metro PCS etc (which use T-Mobile networks) but when a T-Mobile SIM is used, we get no Wi-Fi calling option. When I go into engineering mode, it clearly shows Wi-Fi Calling isn't provisioned.
Does anybody have an idea as to when T-Mobiles OP 10 pros will receive the OOS 13 update? I bought the phone with the understanding it's already received the Android 13 update but apparently the T-Mobile model is the only one that HASNT been updated.
Hi all,I switched to T-Mobile from ATT end of May. I was looking forward to the keep and switch rebate as I paid over $900 to unlock my phone. Every time I check it says “Sorry, you're not eligible for T-Mobile Carrier Freedom”I have seen similar posts on this community about the same issue. Is this a scam? did I fall for it?I called customer service multiple times and they say you have to wait 5 days, then another rep said wait another 3 days. Anybody had success with this?
I am trying to get the proof of my old calls and need my 6 months’ statement copies for my client’s lawsuit case. My account was closed on June 13, 2021 and needed the bills from Jan 2021 thru June 2021 as soon as possible to submit to my client’s attorney. I tried to go to the T-mobile store and called the headquarters 13 times but couldn’t find any record of my old account. Please help me get my old statements.
I just started with T-Mobile on the Magenta Max 55+ plan. I activated my new phone using the plan 10 days ago. I am noticing that my mobile hotspot data usage goes up a little bit each day and is now at 2.13 gigabytes. But I have all "Mobile Hotspot & Tethering" settings disabled on my phone settings, and they have been disabled all along. So, how am I using mobile hotspot data? I looked at all the apps that have used mobile data on my phone, and "Mobile Hotspot & Tethering" is nowhere in the list, which is as it should be. I am sending screenshots of the top 5 apps under mobile data usage; and showing that all my "Mobile Hotspot & Tethering" settings are disabled. Furthermore, my TOTAL mobile data usage for the 10 days is only 5.6 gigabytes, so this “error” makes up almost half of my total data usage. What happens if I use 100 GB of mobile data, will T-Mobile say I’ve used 50 GB of hotspot data? I was going to try the mobile hotspot feature today for the first time
New Pixel 6 Pro. Worked fine for first few days. Now when the phone shows connected to 5G UC, I can not receive any data or connect to internet. There's an exclamation point in the notification area. If the phone shows just 5G or LTE them I can receive data. Tried resetting all networks and still won't work on 5G UC band.
I have had t mobile almost a year no issues. Monday morning the signal went weak and has been since. No bad weather no power surges. They sent new gateway nothing changed. Started with making a payment arrangement. I set up a payment arrangement recently. I was going to pay my outstanding balance today (9-29-22, payday). Somehow the system gave me payment dates of the 25th and the 27th! Called sunday, spoke to Jasmine. After 45 minutes of her repeating the same thing about some button she can’t push and NOT transferring me to the supervisor, she says she set up an alert so that if my service is disconnected before i make my payment this afternoon, she will waive the reconnect fees and manually restore my service. Well, of course at 6:30 this morning my service was disconnected. Noone available to speak to before 7. At 7, spoke to Dexter who read the notes and said that he saw what Jasmine said but he himself was unable to do it and it had to be Jasmine. He said he would send a message to Jasmine. I asked for a supervisor and was told they were all in a meeting. 3 hours later I haven’t heart anything so I called back. Spoke to someone (didn’t
For some reason Tmobile assumes that im in nashville tennessee when im actually in central ohio, essentially downtown columbus. Is there any fix for this as its affecting the game servers i automatically connect to. ive tried a vpn and it doesnt fix the issue. Im using a tp-link router and using the tmobile nokia trash can as a modem essentially.
I've asked this many times over, but I still cannot get it to work. I need to know how to change the names of the devices connected to my TMobile Home Internet. I've named them all directly on the device itself, but that name doesn't show up on my internet list. Everything comes up as a bunch of numbers, or "unnamed device" and it makes it IMPOSSIBLE to figure out what is what. Every TV and computer and tablet in the house runs off this internet, so very often we run out of space and cannot connect anything new. If I knew which device was which, I'd be able to disconnect what isn't necessary to run 24/7, and what needs to stay connected. Anyone have any clue what to do?!? It's starting to make this affordable internet service not worth the savings because the stress, arguments, and tension is making my household a place of contention :( Help!
Hi.A new user, and I was handed an ARC-KVD21. Have connected several devices easily, but the Windows 10 box won’t do it. The gateway gets a “good” signal.Ethernet line works fine (on it now); wireless does not.WLAN AutoConfig service is started and Windows power off is disabled. Before attempting to make wireless connection I disable the Realtek local area connection. Unsure if this is actually necessary. The odd thing is, starting WiFi in windows 10 does not work. It shuts itself off right after turning it on in Settings/WiFi.I realize this is not strictly a T-Mobile issue (I believe) but I’m rooting around for fixes.
I’ve spoken with T-mobile support several times about this issue and the last tec support guy said it’s due to the location of their towers but noone else around here is having the issue. My location is in another state and it’s bothersome when my bank sends me emails asking if it was me who just accessed my account. There are others who will do the same. And when I search for something, it brings up the wrong state. Google has me in the right location. This has to be a issue with my router. I hope to get this resolved this time and if not, I will be changing serversAdditionally, my laptop says it can’t connect to gateway! What’s this?
I cancelled my T-mobile service and they sent me a bill. I have no access to my past online bills now that I am not a customer. I received a notice to pay the bill in the mail. When I go to t-mobile.com/guestpay as the letter instructs and enter my account number, it says “We are unable to accept guest payments from the phone number provided at this time. To make a payment, please log in.” But when I try to log in, it asks me to link my phone number and once I enter it, it just stays on the same screen. When I called T-Mobile, they said I would have to go into a store to pay. Something seems broken...
Hi All I am new to T-Moble we join the 55+ plan, prior to switching to T-Moble I had just bought 2 new unlock S8 phone from Best Buy. One was being use on Verizon’s network and the other on ATT’s network. They are now both being use on T-Moble’s network. To find your IMEI From a Home screen, touch and swipe up or down to display all apps. These instructions apply to Standard mode only. From a Home screen, navigate: Settings > About phone .Tap Status.View the IMEI.I have found that even if you do a network check with your IMEI and it does not show compatible, it does not mean your phone will not work on the network you are looking to use. The only way to know for sure is to put a SIM card from that network in your phone.Hope this helps others.
