Ok I'm about done hearing that the Unlocked variants OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro are on Stable versions of android 12 while being stuck with the carrier variant means we probably won't see Android 12 on T-Mobiles OnePlus 8 or 8 Pro until Android 13 drops this is ridiculous thanks T-Mobile!
It’s really strange with out Internet service as of late. Using Ookla I’ve been finding our downloads have been 2 MB at the best while our uploads 50 MB or better. Normally it’s been 7 or so MB down and 2 MB or so on the up. I’ve done the reboot on the trashcan and a full shutdown restart with no changes. I called TMO’s customer service and the tech probed the gateway and then had me do a full shutdown/restart with no changes. This is the only thing going where we live besides satellite or dialup, we had DSL but the speed was 1.5 down at the best and now the port we had has been given to another customer The neighbors are interested in TMO but I keep telling them to hold off until the convert an old Sprint tower near us but with these slow speeds it’s going to be a long wait.
Wondering if anyone else is having similar issues.First, at $50/month for 5G speeds with no data caps, this service is pretty much the best deal out there. When it is working well, we typically see speeds in the 60+ Mbps down/ 20+ Mbps up which is by far the best performance we’ve ever had at our house. Unfortunately, it has recently become the case that it almost never “works well”. Over the last couple of weeks, we are lucky if we can get an hour a day where it is getting this kind of performance. For much of the day, it is actually not even usable (we’re talking less than 1 Mbps and barely registering uploads). The strange thing is that when we first got this modem, it never seemed to be the case. I saw some forum discussions that overheating might be an issue, but it really isn’t that hot. Additionally, when it is performing poorly, I noticed that we are getting less than two bars primary and zero bars secondary on the modem. Again, this previously wasn’t the case.Sometime re
We've had TMobile Home Internet for several months, and it's been rock solid from day one. Until the last 24 hours. Every 10-30 minutes or so, our devices get 'Connected, No Internet', and the only way to fix it is to power cycle the gray trash can (as we call the modem). Very confused, as it's location hasn't changed since initial setup, nor have any of its settings. Any help would be appreciated.
I would like to use Port Forwarding, IP Reservations, and be able to rename devices in the device list. None of this seems available with the 5G21-12W-A (New Nokia gateway). When will these be available, if at all?Feels like a case of “newer is not always better”, as the old gateway, as far as I can tell, supported these features.
I recently jumped on the wagon for the T-Mobile home Internet, it was great for the first three weeks getting about 250Mbps download and close to 25Mbps on upload and now it’s super slow and keeps dropping some devices off the WiFi. I have to reset the modem to get the device to reconnect! it’s been a steady frustration that now it’s happening everyday. Is anyone else having the same issues?
I received the following text: T-Mobile: As part of your new My T-Mobile experience, your Autopay feature needs to be re-setup prior to your next bill cycle date. To avoid a service interruption, please login and re-setup your Autopay at <link>. However, when I go to the website and try to refill my account, I get the following error, displayed under the “Payment method” section: We are unable to process this payment transaction. Please visit a Retail Store to complete this transaction. The fields to input my payment information are disabled, so I cannot even attempt to make a payment. This is true regardless of whether I try to re-setup Autopay or even just make a one-time payment. I tried on two different browsers (Chrome and Edge) and got the same results. Why can’t I make my payment online? My cycle ends in a week.
New Pixel 6 Pro. Worked fine for first few days. Now when the phone shows connected to 5G UC, I can not receive any data or connect to internet. There's an exclamation point in the notification area. If the phone shows just 5G or LTE them I can receive data. Tried resetting all networks and still won't work on 5G UC band.
I have had a problem with calls dropping when I am at home. I live in Chicago, and my phone works fine everywhere but at home. I am talking fine, and then, the call goes dead. Sometimes it comes back, sometimes not. I thought it was my old S7 which was the problem, but I just got a new S10 and it is the exact same problem. I have tried wifi calling as well, and nothing seems to work. This is becoming a serious problem since I am now working from home. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!-Jim
Has anyone else noticed that T-Mobile’s coverage map is misleading and flat out wrong? Part of the reason we joined was due to their claim of having full coverage in a part of Wisconsin. First time we were there we had zero service through T-mobile, and we ended up on a AT&T network. That then treated our service as roaming and did not allow for us to use data. I proceeded to call T-mobile and they confirmed their map is wrong and they use a roaming partner (AT&T) there and “appreciated the feedback”. Despite that, they haven’t corrected the issue. Seems like a false claim T-Mobile should be held accountable for. Anyone else come across this? And did they report this to any regulatory authorities? @tmobile-admin
My Family has been scammed by T-Mobile! 1st mistake: In early November we switched from AT&T to T-Mobile. 2nd: Mistake: Fell for the so called “Free” IPhone 13 upgrade scam! I traded in/sent them my perfect condition i-phone 12 pro max for a i-phone 13 pro max and was told I would received $1000 in installment credits over 30 monthsI traded in/sent them my wife’s perfect condition i-phone 12 pro for a i-phone 13 pro and was told I would received $1000 in installment credits over 30 months I’m now being charged $36.67 - 15.50 credit for each phone. So being charged $21.17 for each phone per month. If you do the math they gave me $465 each for my phones. The promotion was $1000 credit on any I-phone 12! They lied!My local store employees verbally guaranteed we would get the full $1000 because that was the promotion!I’m still fighting to get the full credits. Next step is filing a complaint with Better Business and taking legal action filing a class action lawsuit. If
I have been a customer for 8 year straight. I would be longer but I had a job that gave me a work phone for personal use and so I had canceled my tmobile service during my time with them. I have continuously had insurance and the Jump program through tmobile for the extent of my time with them. I have upgraded a phone or two but never used insurance claim. Now that I have a phone with mechanical issues rather than water or physical damage tmobile has wormed it’s way out of honoring the insurance? what kind of company is this? maybe I have been wrong in believing I was with the better company? I convinced family and friends to go with tmobile for service as well. You want to offer me $450 dollars instead of honoring the insurance I have been paying for? refund the 8 years of insurance since you won’t honor your insurance. That is flat out Theft in my book. I once spoke to an executive customer relations associate years ago who helped resolve an issue and I was wondering if they still ha
Hi everyone. I have two devices that have been long since active on the 200mb data for life plan. One is an ipad, one is an android tablet. The android tablet is my work tablet as a wildland fire administrator. It only gets pulled out during fire season, so it spends a long period of time off and in storage. Yesterday, I got sent to an assignment, so I bought a 30 day data pass for the tablet. I got the text saying it was active and my purchase was successful. However, I have no data services on the device whatsoever, EXCEPT, i can browse any t-mobile website including my.t-mobile.com No apps work, no other websites. The ipad pretty much stays in my bedroom as a reading device, and is constantly on wifi, so i wouldnt notice if it worked or didnt work on the mobile network. However, as part of my troubleshooting with the OTHER line, i disabled wifi, and (this tablet should have 200mb available to use) like the android, I cannot browse any other website thats not t-mobileThings I have confi
I’ve had the Home Internet service for 3 months now and I’m generally happy with it, but one thing is rather annoying. The external IP address that gets assigned to my gateway keeps changing. This has two side effects. Web sites for CCs, banks, etc remember the IP address that you last used to connect and if it changes, they will require additional verification. The other problem is with streaming TV services. The local broadcasts that I’m allowed to watch will depend on where they think that I’m located. My estimated location usually depends on my IP address and in the last month this has changed 4 times! My IP address location has changed from Kansas to Oklahoma, to Texas and today it thinks I’m on Ohio!
Help. I am battling to connect either Google Home Speaker or Alexa (Echo) speaker to T Mobile Home Internet. I have reset the devices but nothing. Both try to connect but can’t finalize the instal and can’t finalize setup connection. Any ideas please.Also...how many devices can you add to home internet. I have the high speed internet gateway (grey tower). I have read conflicting numbers. 10 or 20 (10 on 5g 10 on 2.4g) or 64.
Hey there! My name is James, let me start with the summarized version of the issues: When sending a message from Gmail to a phone number **********@tmomail.com, the message successfully reaches the phone when that address is entered into the "To" or "Cc" field of the email, but the message is blocked when it is entered into the Bcc field. I tried this on multiple carriers and it seems that T-Mobile is the only one with an issue. Now for a more in depth explanation. I am currently testing to see if a Gmail account could be used as a quick alternative Mass Notification System for my company. I used my own cell and a few co-workers cells in the test, my own is T-Mobile and the others were AT&T and Verizon. When I sent the message from Gmail to the respective phone numbers, it reached everyone, but I had entered the addresses into the "To" field on the email. For obvious privacy and security reasons, its preferred to enter them into the "Bcc" field of the email, that way not eve
Trying to watch baseball games and they won't load when I'm connected to the tmobile 5g home internet. Works fine on my other wifi connection (I am testing the home internet device, so I still have both) and on my actual mobile network, but throws an error if I am connected to the 5g home internet network. I have tried on my phone, laptop, and firetv stick...all act the same. Can anyone help?
I have been a T-Mobile customer since the company started and I just signed up for TMO ONE at the urging of a sales rep... now I have been charged twice for my bill and am $19 away from getting an overdraft fee at my bank. Trying to figure out if this was an isolated incident or if it happened to other people. I will not risk going through this ordeal again and will remove myself from the TMO ONE program if it's widespread. Also, I expect T-Mobile to reimburse any bank charges I incur due to this error. Please comment if you were charged twice too!
Hello,Sorry for the long post to follow. Here is what happened to me recently. On Sunday 1/19/2020 around 2:30pm, I noticed that I lost T-Mobile network connection. Everybody around me, including those with T-Mobile network were fine, with 4-5 signal bars. I assumed it was a phone/setting issue, rebooted the phone, reset the network setting, but nothing. Removing the SIM and re-entering did nothing either. I decided to turn off my phone for a little bit then an hour later, when I turned it on, I still had the same issue, WIFI was working though. I decided to try my friend’s SIM to see if it was a phone issue or SIM and network connection came back so it was a SIM issue. I decided to call TMobile with my friend’s phone that evening and they were able to reactivate my phone. I asked them what happened and they said that they were not sure, most likely a glitch.Fast forward to Tuesday morning 1/21/2020 at 4am (I wake up early), I checked my bank account and see that there was a unauthorize
I filed a claim with Assurant in early February 2020- they denied it at first then after another call they approved it. I received the replacement and returned my damaged phone on 2/7/2020 via USPS using the label they provided. I called after receiving the second notice that the phone was not received as it should have been delivered by then. Turns out it had been delivered on 2/11/2020, but there was no phone inside the envelope. I called Assurant and was told that the envelope was sealed, but that the ends were opened. Sounded to me like the way they probably open these when they arrive and process the claim. Regardless, they said i would have to file a claim with USPS and that if they did not find the phone i would be charged non returned fee for it. I asked them to share there notes with me, so that i could use them when filing a claim with USPS, she said she could not. I asked that the call be escalated and the manager proceeded to tell me that was correct and that USPS h
