I wanted to confirm that my public IP changes every 2 weeks. It’s rare that I have an uptime that long but on the 2 occasions that I have my IP changes overnight. I’m guessing the DHCP lease the gateway gets is only good for 2 weeks. That matches up with my previous ISP. Unfortunately instead of renewing on the same IP it seems to change which is annoying.
My email to sms stopped working a couple of days ago but for only one sender. The sender checked and has no issues, I tested sending through my personal email to my sms and it worked so I assume T mobile is blocking the sender in question. I called Tmobile tech, they didnt see any blocks, but I dont think they dug too deep as I know I have blocked many text message senders that send junk...
Can someone please tell me how to get my phone unlocked so I can use it with a different carrier besides the one it's locked thru ? I have a home business and have used a Pixel 2XL and now a Pixel 4a. I get terrible service. I sometimes cannot make calls, send texts, don't receive texts... Yet people can call me, although sometimes the call is dropped. Overall, my service is totally unreliable. However, my husband has a Samsung phone and has perfect service here. My daughter and my friends visit with their non-Google phones and have reliable service here.I buy my Pixel phones directly from Google for the TMobile network. I have been dealing with the issue for 3 to 4 years since starting with T mobile and every timer I have brought up the issue with tech support, I get a different diagnosis. I was pushed into getting a Samsung phone ( TMobile paid half) but I went back to Pixel because I prefer the Pixel phones. Still, I have to deal with sometimes not being able to communicate! Any ideas on why this is happening?
Cybercriminals can now utilize sophisticated and undetected tactics for harmful actions thanks to 21st-century technology. A poll conducted in 2020 indicated that 65% of US-based businesses were vulnerable to email phishing and impersonation assaults. If your organization does not implement DMARC, it enables cyberattackers to: Transmit funds from susceptible employees through fraudulent emails while impersonating key officials in your firm. Send bogus bills to your workers and business partners. Use your domain to sell illicit items. Spread ransomware. Impersonate customer service in order to get sensitive customer or partner information. Such scenarios might have long-term ramifications for your company. The hazards are numerous, ranging from jeopardizing the brand's reputation among its partners and customers to the loss of critical corporate information and millions of dollars. Domain Spoofing for the UnversedDomain spoofing is a typical type of security breach in which a c
I moved to an area which shows extended 5G coverage - but my older phone gets NO signal (iPhone 6 which I pretty much just use to make calls or text)I would hate to have to upgrade to a new phone, only to discover the area just has no coverage. I can use WiFi to make calls/text in the house, but then why do I need T-mobile? Open to suggestions/solutions
Unable to access T-Mobile web portal, unable to change password in app, unacceptable phone support wait times
So after the hack I’m obviously wanting to change my password. No such luck. Web portal access? “Looks like we got our wires crossed.” No access. Password change in iPhone app? “Request timeout.” Called customer service, chose Option 1 for a callback, only to be called back with horrible music playing and having me wait again. Does anyone have any idea how to get in touch with T-Mobile support or how to make their app work?
So I just got two LTE galaxy watch 4's to use when I don't want to carry my phone with me (while exercising). After spending two hours at a T-Mobile store and another hour on the phone with a technician, they escalate and another tech comes on and advises me that the galaxy watch 4 cannot be used as a standalone on t mobile. It can only be used when connected and near the phone its paired with! WHY would T-Mobile sell an LTE watch that can only be used when connected to the phone? That is called a Bluetooth watch! Very frustrated with them wasting 3 hours of my time, when this could have been mentioned when the watches were ordered. And even then, why sell LTE watches instead of Bluetooth watches? Has anyone one had this issue?
I updated my s21 ultra like a week or two ago. Ever since then any audio I stream while on mobile data gets super jumpy and skips like every 20-30 seconds. I've restarted the phone, deleted my streaming apps, redid the all of my paired audio devices, etc. Nothing is helping. Anyone have this issue that can help me out?
I have seen this problem quite frequently in these forums (some going back 3 years), none that I have seen have been reported as solved. I spoke with customer care @ 611 last week. We thought we had it solved as I was able to get in and set up a passcode, but unfortunately, it’s not. If someone calls me it says “this person has no subscription on this service”. If I call to check for messages, it acts like I am calling from a phone other than my own. I prefer not to spend hours on the phone trying to fix an issue on your end. I thought maybe someone here might have a solution before going that route. BTW, we set up 2 phones on this plan, the other one is just fine. TIA
Hi We have a Samsung A32 5g (pervious issued phone was an A22) and an Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. T-Mobile Corporate (CS) sent us to the store to get (free) new sim cards due to an ongoing issue with our phones due to the INABILITY to send and receive on time text messages since before Aug 2021,(when I had an A22)This is only with text messages. This happens when I have a good signal and a Wi-Fi connection in my house, but it has also happened when I'm out and have only cell signal with GREAT SIGNAL. We have tried it with other carriers with people, and it still doesn’t work all the time. The usual phone troubleshooting steps (quitting the Messages application, restarting the phones, hard resets, brand new phones, even different messaging apps) do absolutely nothing. I should add FaceBook messenger works, but meh. We checked the activity logs in our T-Mobile account, and the read, delivered, and sent, in the APP it self. which doesn't always work. It’s been confirmed many times now that T-M
Hello...I recently converted to T-Mobile Home Internet and am having one annoying issue. My Remoplus S doorbell works normally EXCEPT there’s no video at all anymore. I get notifications when there’s movement or the bell is rung but the video always comes up missing. I’ve tried to reboot, reset everything multiple times with no success. Given the notifications are coming across that means the device is successfully hooked up. As only the video is impacted, I suspect T-Mobile is blocking some needed port/protocol. Anyone with advice on this issue? Thanks...Jeff
Do you scam customer into getting more accountsthan necessary. We went in to get to lines because we are only 2 people. Apparently you have your representative telling customers of November 2021 that the 3rd line is free, but it isn’t. It’s not included it’s $25. We came in for 2 voice plan but were given 3 (the 3rd one free) it’s not free and we don’t use it. Again there are 2 of us. Why are we being charged for a 3rd line that you claim to be free but it’s not?
Every night for the last 3 nights our tmobile libes have been hacked, our emails hacked. I have changed the passwords so many times its unreal. They connected devices to digits which we have never done. Hes tried exploiting me sayin ill leave u alone for 500$, he's texting me off my husbands phone number. Hes gotta my husbands bank app locked twice n even canceled n reopened a new account. What do I do?!?
I have a Sprint branded LGV50 that I just bought back in April 2021 and am now being told it will not work on t-Mobile after Jan1st 2022. ENRAGED
I have a Sprint branded LGV50 that I just bought back in April 2021. So far it has been the best performing and flawless phone I have ever experienced. Now I am being told that it will not be supported by t-mobile that I am being forced to become part of as of January 1st, 2022. Is there any way that this phone can be made to work after the transition. If not does anyone know what carriers WILL support my phone that was just made in 2019? Because I will gladly change carriers rather than change this phone.
Hello,I’m on the 20$ prepaid plan. I’m outside US and unable to contact T-Mobile. What’s the grace period a prepaid account can remain out of balance from the last service day ie 30 days? I’m not very clear of the below statement from T-Mobile.“If balance is insufficient to renew all lines on your account for 120 days, all lines will be suspended for 30 days. If you have an account balance, all lines will convert to Pay As You Go for 30-day increments with $3/mo” Is it stating that an account can remain out of balance for 120 days after which the account is suspended and number reallocated? I can make a one time payment as guest but how long after the 30 day service window can I make the payment? Let me know if there any question. Any help regarding this is appreciated. Regards.
