Hello everyone, yesterday my Surface Duo 2 randomly stopped being able to make calls or send / receive text. I tried call out connected to wifi with wifi calling on as usual and it said connect to mobile network. So I disconnected wifi connected to mobile network only and said need to connect to wifi to make a call. I reset everything back to factory, tried different apns etc. The sim works in a tmobile branded old phone I have. Anyone else have similar issue??
Why won't Hulu Live work with T-Mobile Internet? Looking the question up online says: “T-Mobile Home Internet supports most video streaming services, like YouTube TV or Netflix. However, at the moment, Hulu + Live TV is not supported due to a technical requirement in delivering the service. We’re working closely with Hulu to resolve this as quickly as possible,” a T-Mobile spokesperson said in a statement. This is very unacceptable in today's market. With Hulu being a cloud supported application, it should take nothing to support the service. It's a simple data service that should be provided and supported. 5G is just a carrier, it's a link to internet services. Why is it, the service is not supported? I would like a deeper technical answer as to why such a simple thing is not 'supported'?
Frustrated as hell. Need to get my Samsung phone unlocked from T-mobile network Moving overseas. All I get is run around, try unlock app (not available on my phone) we will have tech call you ... etc, etc. Can anyone out there take care of this? I have been trying for 3 days … nobody has helped in any way.
I got this fix 5/24/22 it's similar to many others. They don't work this one does. It's from a LG engineer.Put the affected LG phone in airplane mode by pulling down the notification shade and tapping on the plane icon.Putting the phone in airplane mode should stop the IMS error message from popping up.Open the phone's settings and tap on Apps and Notifications, followed by App Info.On the App Info page, click on the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of the screen and tap on Reset App Preferences, then tap on Show System.Look on the app list for "com.lge.ims.rcsprovider" and tap on to open the next page. Doing so will pull up the pre-installed IMS provider app's detailed overview.Once there, tap on the clear data/cache option, then clear storage, then force stop. Then restart the phone. If the pop up happens anytime during this. Restart phone and do again.
It is Showing that web guard is on our business T-Mobile Nokia High Speed Internet Gateway only. Plus, neither one of our cell phones from another service can get t T-Mobile app to work in order to change the web guard filter. It says it looks like we got our wires crossed. I was on my cell phone 3 hours last night just to find out no one can do it until the morning. They said it has to be something on customer service side. We have only had the modem a few days and we still have about 10 more days before 14 day cancel guarantee without payment. I am unable to change anything on the app and on the computer when I log in. It is locked or was not filled in completely. Please let me know what can be done as I wanted to get rid of charter business internet.
When I first got my Inseego 5G with 100gb plan, it was incredibly fast and a dream come true for where I live; AT&T here has max 25mb\s DL and 1.5mb\s UL and averages 55ms latency while on T-Mobile 5G I was getting 70mb\s DL and 20mb\s UL and 40ms latency. As of last week, discord and games no longer work on 5G on this hotspot. I talked to technical support and I mostly did my own troubleshooting. Finally I decided to test it using a VPN and everything worked again (meaning it is not the device) at the cost of some speed due to a VPN being a middle man making it slightly worse than 4G. So basically I have no use of a VPN other than testing. So I came to the conclusion that T-Mobile took it upon themselves to block these applications on 5G. I also read that if you use more than 50gb you may be slowed “due to congestion”.Its fine though, at least I can still watch all the bandwidth hogging stuff like Youtube, twitch, etc but gaming stuff that uses the least amount of data is an issue,
I am writing this to bring light to something I haven't seen being discussed and that I haven't received any resopution for. My issue is with Sprints "Flex Lease". The options for the Flex lease that I agreed to and as listed in my contracts are:- All options are for after you pay 18mo payments*1. Pay remaining "purchase amount" once 18mo is up which typically is the amount of 6 more payments in one lump sum to "own" the device.2. Pay the purchase amount after the 18mo is up but pay it by making 6 more monthly payments to own device.3. Trade in the device and get another one (i.e. upgrade.)4. Trade in device and cancel the line.5. Do nothing and continue to pay a "lease charge" which is basically a full monthly device payment (no credits or promotional prices you might have paid for the 18mo) of which none of this goes towards purchasing/owning the phone. Once my leases were up on two of my lines, I went to select the 6 monthly payments to ownthe device as my contract stipulates. Howev
Cable internet -- whether coaxial cable, fiber-optic cable or a hybrid of the two -- relies on wires to transmit data from a central hub into your home. But 5G home internet is a fixed wireless solution that uses an internet gateway to connect your home using radio frequencies to connect website to a cell tower or data hub nearby.
I am having a difficult time having phone unlocked after even 24 hours. So my new provider is waiting and I had to get a seperate line and device from them so I can dump the tmobile things asap. I have not been able to contact anyone either since the number was ported and they auto cancelled my account. I purchased a phone from Samsung to begin with and a phone tmobile was allowed to use should never have been locked. I see all these horror stories regarding similar events and quite honestly- my next actions will just be getting consumer affairs involved and or legal action to reimburse any additional funds I paid plus - the almost year that I never had service before finally cancelling. Nightmare fuel
