After spending 4+ hours on the phone with customer care, and in-store, today trying to get Dual eSIM’s setup on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, I left the store with one eSIM and one physical SIM on my new device. I need help and direction on how to get multiple eSIM’s from T-Mobile setup on my device. I currently have two T-Mobile accounts - one personal, one business. I’ve previously used them in Dual SIM setup, one physical SIM & one eSIM - as described above, on my iPhone 12 Pro. Every time I’ve needed to re-setup the single eSIM for that device, the store always struggled to know what to do and how to get me setup with a single eSIM. Now that the iPhone 13 Series supports Dual eSIM use, I’d like to get setup this way.The device was ordered from Apple to activate T-Mobile’s network, and the eSIM for my personal line came pre-configured upon the arrival of the device. However, when using the “Change SIM” option in “My Account” for my business line, as well as the store attempting to upd
Hi, I recently bought a Sprint branded LG V50 which works reasonably well on T-Mobile. I found out that the phone will no longer work after Jan 2021 because Sprint/T-Mobile is not porting VoLTE and WiFi calling over to the device. So much for the un-carrier. When I called Customer Service, I was told I have to buy a new phone. I just bought this one. I do not get why I should have to pay for another phone. Is anyone out there in a similar situation? Is there a remedy?ThanksPete
Does anybody know if you'll be carrying the Google Pixel 6 and Pro? The reason I ask is because there's a launch event on the 19th of October and then supposedly preorders is going to start on the 19th of October as well. I know that T-Mobile entered into a new Google partnership again which almost 99.9% guarantees that T-Mobile is going to get the new phones in the future. Also I just recently came across a blog post on T-Mobile's official website about how they're going to support future Pixel phones other Google devices as well as make Google Messages the default messaging app. So I can only assume that it's going to come to T-Mobile, but I don't want to jump the gun and make that assumption and get let down if it's not coming to T-Mobile. So I would just like to know in advance if the Pixel 6 is going to come to T-Mobile, so I can get prepared to preorder it on the 19th. Also I'm very well aware that I can get an unlocked version from Google directly and then use it with T-Mobile's
Can someone help me out. Can anyone refer me to what kind of wifi extender I should be looking for. Sorry. Not very computer literate much less wifi. I was looking at the eero mesh wifi router on Amazon, but before I spend that much money on something I want to make sure it would work with TMobiles wifi. Cannot find any info about this eero mesh. Any help or suggestions for other systems is greatly appreciated.
how did you safely enroll in McAfee identity theft protection offered by T-Mobile to its customers affected by data breach?
T-Mobile website says to request the offered McAfee coverage and await an email from McAfee with link to Complete Enrollment Now. An email is sitting in my spam filter from email@example.com but I don’t know whether it is safe. If you used used a link in an email from this address, were you able to set up the offered McAfee id theft protection through it? thanks for any help.
Weeks ago, this weird thing started happening where, if I turned on my screen immediately after it turned itself off, only the top few lines would be visible. The whole screen would take input, but you could only see a little below the status bar, maybe. If I waited a bit and then turned the screen on, it would work normally, with the whole screen visible and looking fine.It got progressively worse to the point where this happens most of the time I turn the screen on. However, I've found two workarounds:1) My Always On Display is set to turn on when I tap the phone. If I do that, the AOD works as normal, and if I then turn on the phone screen the phone screen works fine. This only works when Always on display is set to turn on on tap. It does not work if AOD is set to always be on.2) If, when my screen is glitching out I hold the screen up to a reeaally bright light (like inches from a lightbulb), the rest of the screen turns on. It's weirdly green tinted and kind of stuttery.Turning o
Hi! I have been a T-Mobile customer for approximately 2 weeks. When I first transferred my service from Verizon, I was receiving all of my text messages. Two days after switching, all texts stopped from people outside of T-Mobile. I can send text messages and people receive them but I cannot receive text messages from anybody with another carrier, and I cannot receive MMS messages from T-Mobile users. When I contacted customer service, they directed my issue to engineering who responded that I needed a new sim card. I went into the T-Mobile store, got a new SIM, which did not make my text messages push through. So, they thought that it was a device issue and I purchased a new Pixel 4A. The issue still is not fixed. When I re-contacted customer service, they put another request for the engineers. My text messages pushed through approximately 3 to 4 days later. Then I stopped receiving messages again and it was pushed back to engineering. A few days after that all of my text messages cam
Hi, I’m trying to re-certify my advantage program discount as instructed by T-Mobile. My question is where can I find a current list of companies/organizations that participate in the program? I work for and are affiliated with different companies/organizations and want to make sure I choose the right one prior to verification. Can someone please let me know where I can find this list? I’ve been calling around everywhere and no one seems to know and the links that used to point to the Advantage program no longer work.https://www.t-mobile.com/business/customers/advantage-program-reverificationObviously there has to be a list somewhere otherwise how are they able to verify?please help ,thanks.
I’m accustomed to periodically updating my phone’s PRL, especially since we take long drives upstate and into the mountains. I swithed the SIM to t-mobile yesterday and when I go to the phone’s update menu there’s no longer an option to update the PRL. I cannot find itr anywhere in the help menu. Does t-mobile automatically update that for me or is there some trick to force it to update?
I am trying to understand this. i was on an international call for over 3 hours. I thought since it was a WiFi call I would not get charged expensive international rates. After my call, I received a text that my call cost me $636.00.. That’s $3 a minute charge. I think that is kind of outrageous for a WiFi call. Is this standard in the industry? I just want to understand this practice. if they call me do I get charged the same or is it free because I am the one who answered the call?Help me understand how this all works to see if I need to pursue other avenues to communicate with friends abroad I have made over the years. Thank you for your time.
Unlocked s21 Ultra showing as "Unknown Device" and not supporting 5G or Extended Range LTE on My Mobile account
I just bought an unlocked S21 Ultra directly from Samsung. It works great, including the tmobile voicemail app and RCS through the Google messages app. It says I’m connected to 5G on the phone, and I get 150+mbps download from home on speedtest.netThe problem is that the tmobile account website shows this:The problems with this is:Most important: I have free phone repair insurance through my Uber Visa Signature credit card. In the past, when I filed a claim, they required a screenshot of the account to show that I have the device I’m filing a claim for on the tmobile account that I pay monthly through my credit card. I would have issues proving that I have an S21 Ultra on my tmobile account if it says “unknown device:” I’m worried I’m not getting the best speeds or roaming experience if I were to take a road trip in a rural setting. 150mbps+ from home is good enough in the major city that I live in, and I’m sure it’ll be better if I get closer to the tmobile cell phone tower which
Just curious to know what is the purpose of having battery in T Mobile Home Internet Gateway NOK G21. When it is operating on battery, I did not see Wi-Fi available. While exploring happened to see below note in user guide. NOTEIn the case of total power outage/emergency, the battery provides up to eight hours of power. During battery operation, neither Wi-Fi nor Ethernet connections are supported.
Has anyone found a solution to get the promotion code to generate at https://promotions.t-mobile.com/ParamountPlus??I typed in my T-Mobile phone number but nothing happens when I click “Continue”, like literally the only thing that happens is my number disappears. The other site I’ve been directed to is https://promotions.t-mobile.com/rebates. But that promotion code is required.
I just got a 5g home internet router and so far the signal and speeds are good at my home. I already have a wireless router (Amplifi) that covers my house much better than the t mobile device so I’d like to use that, which means I need to put the t mobile router in bridge mode/DMZ and turn off the wireless radios. T mobile’s web user interface guide (https://www.t-mobile.com/support/devices/web-user-interface-t-mobile-lte-wi-fi-gateway#app8) states that many features of the router can be accessed via the Expert menu (ie DMZ, etc). I can’t access any such Expert menu on my router. Help!
When I try to send text messages to my son and/or his wife, I immediately receive the message that Message Blocking is active. But when I look at the list of phone numbers that I HAVE blocked from texts, phone or FaceTime, their numbers do not appear. This only occurred after I purchased the new iPhone13. Previous to that I have had no issue in sending texts to them. I am able to send texts to my other contacts. The only unique thing about my son and daughter-in-law is that their phone numbers are in area code 630 while their sisters are in area code 616.
I have international roaming available as part of plan, but phone won’t connect to internet. I am currently in a city called Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. The phone connects to a strong signal from Vodafone - India (and shows all bars are up on signal anywhere in city). But, when i try to start up chrome browser, it immediately shows “NO INTERNET”. Has been consistently doing it for past few days that i have been here. The obvious checks (Mobile data, Data roaming, Network operator etc) have all been checked. So, i am starting to think that vodafone india is throttling or cheating Tmobile on their end of the deal. If not, how can tmobile give me data service here ? I need to get this working soon, since i will be india for a while…..currently, i am getting by only on wifi connects.
This morning I noticed that when my iPad and iPhone connect to the WiFi signal from my 5G High Speed Gateway (the silver trash can) they warn me that “This network is blocking encrypted DNS traffic.” It goes on to state that internet traffic on the network may be monitored and recorded by other devices on the same network.I have an Eero router connected to the gateway by ethernet and configured in bridge mode to serve as an access point. When I connect to that WiFi signal I do not get the same warning message. I have already:(1) rebooted the gateway several times(2) done a factory resetAnother odd symptom — which may or may not be related — is that it continues to show a warning on the LCD for “modem storage overload.” I noticed this a few days ago, but it has not been resolved by the reboots or the factory reset. There are no text messages in the device.
Hello,My NOK5G21 is not utilizing EN-DC as it will not grab a secondary signal like it is suposed to. My gateway is on n71 primary but it will not grab a secondary signal or flip to n71 on secondary and grab the much stronger signal LTE in my area band 2, 12. T-Mobile is no help with these devices, they dont seem to know anything about their product or how to work them. Very disappointed in their tech team. Does anyone have any idea on how to get it working?
