Cellspot causing more issues than its fixing

Tmobile lost a tower from a storm months ago next to me and they still have yet to get it repaired. So I was given a CELLSPOT. This went fixing my cell service to now costing me money and hurting my work. I work from home. Its causing VPN issues and dropping service. When Im streaming out it will randomly interfere with the signal and reset the work Im doing for 1-5 mins.
It took me two weeks to realize that the only thing in my home network that has changed since these issues started… was the cellspot. Can the cellspot just be bad or does it really just hijack your service.

I rather just cancel with Tmobile and move another provider because its costing me a lot of money

I have gig internet so its not a bandwidth issue.
