Syncup Kidds phone app stuck at login screen

Just bought a Syncup Kids watch and I could not get the App on my Galaxy S22 Ultra to login to complete the pairing of the watch. 

Repro Steps:

  1. Start the watch and it will ask you to install the Syncup Kidds app on your phone and follow the instructions on the app
  2. Installed the app and run
  3. App will ask you to login to T-Mobile account
  4. Login with my email/phone number and password
  5. After about 1min, error message comes up- “Oh oh, something went wrong. Please try again. If persist, please contact customer care”

After spending about 4hrs with 3 different customer reps, they escalated the issue but still no resolution. 

Has anyone here ran into this issue and got it resolved?
