SyncUp Pet Tracker has never worked

I have had my SyncUp Pet Tracker for just over a month and it has never worked.  I have called customer support numerous time and they always promise to call me back - has NEVER happened.  The tracker does not let me know when my dog is out of his safe zone and even worse, today he full on got out of the yard and it would not allow me to track him.  I had to do it the old fashioned way and drive around calling his name.  What is the point to this device?  I would really like it to work and I have done everything I can think of to get support - this is my last try.  Does anyone have any tips or tricks to get this thing to work or am I wasting the monthly line fee, plus the cost of the device?

There seem to be very few employees who actually know how this device works and/or uses it themselves. The set up should be fairly straight forward, but in order to get alerts, you have to set up your "safe zone". It cannot alert you if it doesnt know where your pet should be. I would recommend starting by calling local stores and seeing if anyone actually uses the device. Then just see them. The "tech support" people are absolutely useless with this device. They read from a script and don't even seem to understand what they are reading. I have had mine for awhile now and it works reasonably well. Luckily, my dog has never gotten out. Hope you can find help
