Syncup watch app all items core api failing error on opening page, then crashes

When I click to open the syncup app for the watch, I get a little pop up on the opening screen right before it crashes that says: all items core api failing.  Started yesterday and still! Can't track without this app. Tried clearing data, cache, uninstalling app, reinstalling app, and no luck. What is going on? I'm seeing several others also complained yesterday of the same issue. 

Can tmobile provide an update, especially considering this is a feature for children's safety monitoring?  I've had inconsistent reliability with tracking since getting this thing 12 months ago and locked down for another year with it. This wasn't what I agreed to as far as service and reliability. I hope tmobile will cancel it and set me free of this.

Same error message here. Android phones. I read on a Reddit thread posted yesterday that you need to now download the T-Life app which I did and was able to track the watches on that. I'm not sure if the sync up app will begin working again, but at least I can still track the watches. 

Just spoke with "senior tech support"  they ran through the typical a b c fixes typed in the 3 ring binder in front of them.  T-mobile likes to blame the phone itself although all 4 of our devices won't open the app.  One might think such a high ranking tech support person would have some clue that this is going on.

I have an on going chat on Twitter with T-Mobile help, i've already asked that this issue be escalated to the Engineering team. This is clearly an Application to destination server issue, not the watch hardware at all. 

I downloaded the TLife app like the individual mentioned above and now I can track my little one and still have all the options to manage their watch from that new app. I'm assuming they are no longer using the syncup app and moving all devices to one app.

Same here. Just started searching to see if there was an outage and going this thread. If they are switching it to one app it would have been nice for them to let us know about the change.

Wow thank you to those that mentioned the T Life app for tracking! None of the tmobile reps suggested using that as an alternative. But, now how do we manage the contacts and who the kids can call from their watches?? HELP  US TMOBILE!

also called them this morning. One identified a local cell tower that has had a hardware issue for several months, but this doesn't seem related because the syncup app issue only started yesterday as others here also mentioned. I'm surprised that that local cell tower hasn't been fixed, I've had other issues with my phone connection near home (not the syncup) and now I know why. Living near silicon valley tmobile needs to do better for this to be ongoing.

Oh your right! you can no longer no manage the approved contacts for the watch! I'll let that be known to the T-Mobile help rep in the ticket they made for me.

I'm in GA and my son is in PA currently... I think it's all over. I'm going to do research and see if there is another brand/company that offers something similar.

Strangely enough, earlier today before all this fiasco, I was considering getting my daughter a galaxy watch or pixel watch to replace this… at least then i can use OwnTracks and sync that into Home assistant. Which i currently use for my wife and I -- I guess it’s just time to make the switch…

There is no find my watch option either. We unfortunately need that with my son. 😂

I've expressed this to T mobile Support and everyone else here should too! We lost a lot of functionality

Seriously T-mobile!?!? Just got this watch a week ago, stuck for 24 months!! The selling points were control of contacts and all functions and tracking the watch to make sure my little one is safe. Yesterday it quits working and no notification,  care, or priority to getting it fixed or instructions as to how to get functionality back? Sounds like I was sold some crap and need to complain somewhere other than this forum.     Using Samsung Galaxy S22+.

I got stuck with this since 12 months ago and it's been inconsistently reliable. Constantly having to restart the watch for the gps to work or for a call to go through to it. But THIS is the icing on the cake. App still not working and not a single communication coming from tmobile since the app stopped working 2 days ago, knowing we use this for kids!
