T mobile app fingerprint login trouble

The phone is a moto 5 g5 2022. For the last 13 months, since new, the app has let me login with my fingerprint, but last week it wouldn't give me the option. I logged in with a password and found the fingerprint toggle was off, with no change by me. When I slide it back on, it stays on for about 1 second and then turns itself off again. It won’t stay on. So I called tech support and they had me do the usual things and then transferred me to a level 2 tech guy and we tried more things, but still the same problem exists. I can’t uninstall and reinstall the app because there is no option for that. He had no solution in the end, and sort of blamed it on Motorola, so I thought someone here may have dealt with this issue and found a fix. The fingerprint works fine with my other apps, banking, PayPal, and the lock screen, etc. It’s just the t mobile app that is having the problem. Thanks for reading.

What about loyalty?

I decided to come here to post this as I was just in a text convo and then call for 30 minutes trying to have my service restored. I was trying to set up a payment arrangement because yesterday my accounts were suspended they requested past due amount. Today I tried to pay said amount there is an additional $67 added. I ask could I pay the past due amount that was asked a few hours ago to restore my service and they apply the $67 to the balance? First they said I had to pay the $67 fee before I can restore the service. So I asked if that’s the case why wasn’t that $67 included the first time I looked into the arrangement? (within hours it’s added on) They said I have to pay that in addition to the bill(the amount I was trying to pay) I am a teacher and during the summer funds are NOT there (we already get paid little to nothing through the school year) any who I tried to explain that I’m not asking for the fee to be removed just added to the next bill they said nothing they could do. I

Is this a public forum

It appears from my experience in the last 2 days that the ability for a private conversation between myself and an authorized employee of T-mobile no longer exists. I dial their support line, and after waiting a total of 2 hours across the 2 day period, all I receive is a telephone answering recording to either use the t-mobile app or to use this “community” forum. I logged into the T-mobile app. I tried to find a way to establish a private communication channel via the app. Under “contact” it only lists the support number. This takes me back to the recorded message which directs me to the t-mobile app or to this forum. I appears that the app does not provide a means of private communications. It appears that the application is only designed to transact purchase new services, terminate services, and make payments. It appears information concerning conformation of transactions is not available on the web-site. Clearly by the contents of this forum it is NOT a private communicati

If I don’t have my phone, how can I log in to my tmobile account, because it requires a text me sent to my phone? Answer this question. I don’t want to hear why I should have a phone blah blah blah. T-Mobile App login no longer works with password managers

I use a password manager for my unique passwords. It’s always worked fine with the T-Mobile app. Now if I paste anything into the login screen, the app locks / freezes / hangs. No more input. Also the info doesn’t actually get pasted. So even if the UX came back to life, the password isn’t populated. developers please stop doing whatever it is you’re trying to do to “protect” the login and password fields. This is a well understood problem. Don’t t try and suppress paste operations into these fields. those of us with 20+ character passwords don’t want to type them out each time.
