Q1 - Is screen burn covered by the TMobile insurance? White band with letter on the top of the screen. A rep said that yes, but I wanted to verify. The phone is in a good condition otherwise.
Q2 - If I file a claim what are my chances of getting a new vs refurbished phone?
Q3 - If I get a refurbished one, what are my chances of getting the one that works? I'm in the middle of a long haul work project and cant' suffer any downtime. I'm good with tech but refurbished ones can be a pain.
Would appreciate any answers/help from Tmobile or fellow users!
Q1 - The Asurion Warranty covers basically anything you want -- for the deductible fee (I think it's $175 for most devices, you can look this up).
Q2 - You're going to get a refurbished phone. No ifs ands or buts.
Q3 - I don't know how many devices are warrantied vs the number of complaints that show up in forums to give the percentage.
If it's screen burn, it might be cheaper to find a local certified repair shop to replace just the screen.
