I have a Galaxy s6. It had been unlocked for 3 years. I cancelled the phone number that was associated with the now closed account and T-Mobile RE-LOCKED the phone. I have requested an unlock code which I have and on the unlock device app ON the phone,  it says the phone is permanently unlocked, however it is NOT unlocked and I cannot use any other sim card in it.

As I am now living in another country this essentially renders my phone useless. I have spent countless hours on the phone with T-Mobile, nobody can tell me why it was RELOCKED and nobody can give me a solution to get it UNLOCKED.
