I recently moved out and living alone. I got the 5G Home Internet to use for working remotely. Internet started really good but a few weeks later Zoom keeps dropping off without notice. Wifi/Ethernet is still connected but no internet going in. The gateway’s display shows “Good” internet connection. No one in their support center is picking up on my calls. So I am here. Anyone has experienced this? Also, I am thinking of getting a router? Might resolve the problem… any suggestions?

Yes get a router! I am NO EXPERT. But I added a router and it made everything a lot faster. Does faster equate better connection too? Maybe!🙂

@IncredibleDr Thank you I appreciate the response. May I know what router you use?

Same issue here. We're out in the country where there's no fiber available. The T-Mobile home.internet works good WHEN IT CONNECTS. Consistent 4-bar "very good" signal, but intermittent delays. We've had it since May 2022. It's November and we have at least 2-3 disconnects per day which require a gateway reboot (unplug, re-plug). Annoying when you're trying to work from home.

T-Mobile tech says there's tower maintanence, an upgrade happening soon, or something similar, but there's never any solution that sticks. Classic run-around.

My Verizon iphone hot spot is much more stabile.

I will look into connecting a router to the gateway.

Very rural area, but have (or say had) great LTE and 5G connectivity with the Nokia home gateway and my apple and android phones.  Last two months has been a nightmare.  Mutilple drops per day (even though the gateway says connection very good or on a phone showing 5GUC and 4 bars).  Have spent hours on the phone with T-Mobile - absolute waste of time.  Everyone should file an FCC Complaint: https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/
