When I signed up for home internet in December 2023 and for most of the time since then, the router has assigned fully working IPv6 addresses. However when I attempted to access IPv6 only resources today I found it had suddenly stopped doing that. Devices that connect are only being assigned v4 addresses. I need to access non-public, v6-only sites professionally and this is a serious problem. What's going on and what do I need to do to get my router and/or service (whichever is to blame) fixed?

@rrrrrf, Yours is the first comment I have read about IPV6 issues. I checked mine, and it shows it is working. Try to reboot the gateway, including powering it off, unplugging all cables, and waiting 30 seconds before reconnecting and rebooting. If that does not resolve your issue, try resetting it (use the reset button on the bottom or side (depending on which device you have).

Let us know how it goes.
