I need to know how to access my firewall setting in my Gateway 5G device. The firewall is blocking from being able to upload files to my website.
Unfortunately there are no options for firewall configuration on current firmware for TMO 5G gateways.
As a beta tester of tech products and journalist, I’ve tested EVERY major internet service provider over the past 28+ years. Unfortunately for T-Mobile this firewall issue is going to hurt them because I will be BLASTING it all over the internet. I’m also a webmaster for a number of sites and ran into the firewall issue myself. Tried several FTP apps thinking it might be a bug in WSFTP. Now I know that the problem is the Tmo firewall.
FileZilla works with it but most FTP programs won’t unless you use a VPN service like ExpressVPN or one of the many others.
