I just got the home internet and it has a great signal, fast speeds. Its great my problem is it wont connect to the chamberlain garage door opener. After lots of troubleshooting the manufacturer told me to request that port 53-883 is open. When I called they said there is no option to open a port. Any suggestions?

Other users have posted about the Chamberlain opener connection issues with the T-Mobile gateway. Some suggest to add a different router to the T-Mobile gateway and seem to have some success. The Chamberlain documentation suggest having 802.11 b/g/n but not ac. Sure 802.11ac or 802.11ax should be backward compatible but some things just don’t play nice. I suggest looking at other posts related to the Chamberlain opener on the T-Mobile forum and also on Reddit as there are probably some there as well. It seems to be a common problem.
