Internet Randomly Drops😡

I see it isn't just me who is having issue with T-Mobile's Home Internet service.  My wifi randomly drops throughout the day everyday.  I've contacted customer service numerous times.  We've done all the trouble shooting steps, and customer service has done whatever testing they do.  They say everything is working fine 🤷 I've connected my TV using my cellphone's mobile hotspot and it works great.  It's so annoying.

Being Charged for 2 phone line not the Gateway Internet

I just opened my T-Mobile bill to find a full $77 charge for a second phone line instead of my $50/$55 Gateway Home internet charge. Wtf is this? Nothing at all was discussed about a second phone line and data charges. I don’t have 2 phones from T-Mobile. One phone, one Gateway. Anyone else experience this?I’ll be going to store tomorrow to cancel service. There’s a big difference between $55 flat and $77 not including extra data charges. The gateway doesn’t leave my house. Furious. 😡 Anyone have advice?

Want to change gateway

When I first started with T-Mobile 5G home internet they sent me the Arkadyan gateway. I was unable to get my Roku TV to see the 5ghz WiFi from this gateway (could only see the 2.4ghz). So I called and the tech (expert?) I spoke to agreed that the Nokia gateway might work better so he had one sent to me. So I tried it. While the Arkadyan gateway gave me 3 bars (good internet connection) and the Nokia only gives me 2 bars (weak internet connection) the download speed seemed to be better on the Nokia. So, I sent the Arkadyan back. Shortly after that my 5G connection started dropping regularly, only a reboot usually brings it back (sometimes it doesn’t). When the 5G drops the download speed is awful. Maybe I made a mistake returning the Arkadyan? Is it possible that the “good” connection on the Arkadyan will maintain a consistent 5G connection? In the last few days I’ve spent over 2 hours on the phone with their “experts” but they don’t seem to be able to send me back an Arkadyan gateway!

Hulu App on Apple TV with iCloud Private Relay

I recently starting trialing T-Mobile Internet.Thought I would describe one issue I encountered in case it might help someone else.When attempting to use the Hulu app on Apple TV 4K with most recent tvOS, the Hulu app asked if I wanted to change my Home location. I clicked Yes, however the change never made any difference (I’m not sure it actually changed anything). Contacted Hulu. Initially they were prettylost as to resolving the issue. Called back the next day. This time I spoke with someone who had the appropriate skills. First I needed to turn off Private Relay. This allowed the Hulu folks toacquire the correct IP address for the Apple TV. They then sent a Home Location change to the app.(I suspect I might have been able to do this myself if I’d turned off Private Relay). That change allowedme to login to Hulu. Live TV worked fine. I then turned Private Relay back on. Restarted the Apple TV and Hulu app. Everything is working fine. fwiw, the Hulu rep who ended up helping me said t

Internet is down. Discrepencies between techs.

We had a storm come through around May ~25th.  I’m not sure if that had anything to do with anything but this is when I started having internet issues.  While I can connect to my internet it’s worse than dial up speeds and loses connection constantly.  I’ve had almost zero issues in a year.  So I figured I’d reach out.  First tech I talked to assured me there was no outage in my area and sent me a replacement modem.  This arrived very quickly but solved absolutely nothing.  Second tech tells me there is an issue with a tower but it has been acknowledged by an engineer and there is no time frame in sight?  While I am patient, it’s frustrating to be read a script, let alone pay for service that may or may not come back up?  I’d like to talk to someone that can verify what the problem is rather than being told to wait.  Is there anyway to do this before being asked to turn off my modem, factory reset it and or move it to another location again?  Thanks!

Where do I send a complaint??? I have been trying to get an issue corrected for MONTHS and just today I spent over 2 hours on the phone to not have it corrected but instead have money taken out of my account!!!  Even when I was told by a SUPERVISOR that she was going to fix it!

T-Mobile Gateway and Orbi AC2200 Tri-band WiFi Router w 5 satellites

I live in a 100 year old brick building.  I have one of the 2,500 sq ft condos.  The walls consist of brick, wire lathing, and plaster. (This is a serious Faraday cage)  I currently have comcast as my ISP but want to change.  To get a Wi-Fi signal through the condo I currently have an Orbi router and 5 satellites.  Would the T-Mobile gateway connect to my Orbi router and have enough bandwidth to service my home?

T-mobile Home internet Connection problems only on one computer

I just got T-mobile home internet. Got the hotspot and hooked it up and it works fine on every device in my house except my Computer. I get about 70 mbps down on all different devices including my laptop but my main gaming pc only gets 25 mbps. I’ve tried resetting and reinstalling my network drivers and quite a few other things. I have no idea what just my computer would be getting slow speeds. I’ve tried both wifi and the 2 ethernet ports on my pc and I still get the same speeds on speedtest. Any Help would be Awesome

5G Nokia router / possible tweaks ??

I’ve being reading lots about the TMHI and I have some devices connected, the TV works perfectly fine but the internet sometimes has hiccups (my bar is only on  number 2).I do understand that it all depends how close to a tower you are and how many users  are on it as well, so I read that a 4X4 antenna could be of big boost , does anybody know of any other ways to boost the signal ??thanks for any suggestions

My wife gateway has good signal but is not connected to the internet. On the app it say it is connected but all my devices do not work they all say  connected but no internet. How do I fix this?

Home Internet Dropped Signal

New to T-mobile home (currently in the trial period) and have found this community very helpful. I'm really interested to know if people are experiencing intermittent connection failure. Wi-fi is strong in the house, but the internet won't connect for a few seconds at a time and it feels pretty random. I have the latest Arcadyan router and live in New York City. I’m cooking at 5 bars (excellent) and there is actually a T-Mobile store on the street level of my building. I’ve set up a script to ping google and notice that it cuts out randomly sometimes for 3-10 seconds. I’m not sure if that is a good way to test, but I’ve attached a screenshot of how the outage was recorded: https://ibb.co/x37gQpJ. I had the script running in the background when I noticed a page hanging on load. I immediate did a (google) speed test and saw that it couldn’t establish a connection to the server. All the while, I had 5bar and full a full wifi signal. I’ve even had my sim card replaced at the t-mobile store

I repeat you can not get all of this through any other provider. Atleast not at the same price.Price point is of great value for what you receive  ConsRequires faster Internet connection of approximately 15 Mbps down. At my parents home it averages roughly 10 mbps and it would stream however it would buffer often. However I think this will get better with time. Scaling infrastructure can be difficult

What’s up with the T Mobile home internet app? Occasionally when I open the app, I see the option of mesh network to the router. The one time I saw it goes through the steps how to install a mesh wireless setup. I’ve seen this once. The next Time I log in, the option is gone. Anyone here seen this?

NetgearEX3700

Just switched to T-Mobile Home Internet and have been trying to connect a Netgear EX3700 to the router.  It’s a no go.  I spoke with T-Mobile support who said that it’s compatible but I’ve tried 20 times and it just won’t hook up.   Can’t get support from Netgear because I purchased this over three years ago.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Slow Speeds On All Devices Using T-Mobile Network: FCC Complaint Imminent

Download Speed: 0.07 MPS, Upload Speed: 0.01 MPS.Hotspot Device: M2000 ($400 5G device)I’m also using Ultra Mobile (uses T-Mobile network) as a service on my phone, and I’m getting the same slow speeds. I tested out 2 other hotspots and getting similar speeds.Location: Deming, NM , tower location is about 2 miles away. We suspect T-Mobile is using GPS to detect that our devices are within a large RV park district of the town, and are purposely throttling all devices within a lat/long box covering the entire multi RV park part of town, which is most likely to be using hotspots. T-Mobile has a chance to troubleshoot their network/tower NOW or lift the GPS lat/long throttle list, or we will be filing an FCC investigation into it. If it takes 2 minutes to load up each ihop page or disconnecting in the middle of taco bell orders (resulting in multiple duplicate payments), and constantly shutting down my remote server work, and this is even on the “high speed” data before it gets “deprioriti

This is getting annoying.

Love making a fresh new account and then trying to login to the T-mobile home internet app and it not working :). I tired getting on my computer to the website and OH it needs a username? Dont have one so i just made my account and still it doesn’t work! :))))

It seems that when the techs can’t solve your problem they hang up on you. Anyone else have this problem? It’s happened several times.

was available for internet from February until July

When I check availability for Internet at my location. In February I was and ordered the gateway. Averaged 70 - 110 Mbps download speed. Now when I check I’m not available.  The only that changed is location of my tower. I located the tower and it’s about 8 miles away. I’m February the tower I was connecting to was only about 6 miles away.  Apparently T-Mobile put up a new tower in another location. My speeds are ok when I can check. Depends on what bands I’m connected to. B2 for primary and n71 secondary are highest. B66 and n71 has lower Mbps download with less buffering. Band B71 doesn’t have a secondary band and only 100 - 150 kbps. Sometimes B2 and B66 are missing n71. Without n71 download speed drops to 1 - 2 Mbps.I have T-Mobile internet help on tweeter and I have received good help from some T-Mobile experts. But for the most part since I’m no longer in coverage area I’m told that I’m getting expected service.I have the gateway on wall with LOS of tower and no obstacles in betw

On or off?

Sadly simple question…. Recovering Satellite internet user here….  Is it better?  recommended? beneficial?   to turn off the Gateway router/modem overnight or when not in use?  Is it detrimental to leave it on all the time?
