how do I get internet modem to recognize it’s location, (city,state)

thanks, I just finished a rather long conversation with tech support while they tried to come up with an answer. most of my ads are Alanta area that is 200 miles away. Seems the answer lies in T-Mobile using dynamic ip addresses which are constantly changing. It’s for our security.

@poppa50 good question. Many of us have the same question. I think it has to do with the way T-Mobile routs traffic. In my case, my location shows in the SF Bay Area, but I am about 40-50 miles away. It is a bit odd, and no one has been able to provide an adequate answer. 

Meanwhile, my internet service works fine.

For the record, I live in South Florida but my T-Mobile gateway resolves to Seattle. I have very low latency and good bandwidth, so go figure!
