Hello. I work from home and was on a Microsoft Teams meeting on my work computer. My husband has an iPhone and he could hear the meeting audio playing on his phone, but it was somewhat garbled. How is this possible?
Just a possibility - you are using teams on speaker and not headphones plus your husband is within hearing distance of your speakers. If true, then your husband’s iPhone may be picking up the background noise and playing it back. All telephones - analog or digital, feedback some of the mic to the telephone speaker so you can hear yourself naturally. The “garbled” playback may be due to the iPhone trying to cancel out some of the background noise.
Now, if you husband is nowhere near hearing distance of your speakers or you are using headphones, that is very odd indeed.

Not sure how this is happening, but one thing you can rule out is internet and networking because Teams uses encryption.
You may have better luck asking your headset maker or Apple for advice.
