The links http://my.mifi (found on my M2000 hotspot) and http://my.mifi.com (found in a T-Mobile help response) don’t work at all. How do I see the ACTUAL usage on my hotspot? What is the correct link?
Thanks,
Dan

Hey Dan! http://my.mifi should work if you go to it from a device connected to the hotspot’s wifi. For example, turn on the hotspot and connect your phone to the network. Then on the phone’s browser you should be able to use that website to access the admin page. I am not sure if the admin page shows you device usage. You can check the usage for your Mifi device by logging into my.T-Mobile.com.
Hope this helps :D
Doesn't work for me either. Not able to resolve name to an address:
Hi
I am posting for those new to this hotspot device as I am.
In order to connect to the Admin web UI:
The hotspot is a standalone access point providing its own network and server services.
To access the admin functions via my.mifi or its IP 192.168.1.1 IP, your PC or phone must be connected to the hotspot network.
I, and I am sure many others read the URL to connect to the Admin web UI and thought they were connecting to a server on the cloud. When in fact they are connecting to the hotspot’s UI.
Think of it like managing any modem or hotspot. Seldom if ever have I seen one that would allow management access from the public internet facing interface. The objective is to have management from the local network for security. If you are not on the local network of course it does not work. It is pretty much the standard local network management practice.
It is understandable to consider a possible cloud based management in this day and age but I would actually not want my local network having management access from the cloud. There might be a certain amount of convenience factor there but too much for my likes.
Okay here is the problem I have for the wifi Hotspot and the admin website!! PLEASE HELP
It doesn't work for me.
