Is there anyway to tell exactly which tower I am connecting to with my home internet router?

You’ll need to disable the ad blocking on the cellmapper.net page to use it, if you use an ad blocker…

How to determine which cell tower your T-Mobile Home Internet device is connected to: 1) Go to web page cellmapper.net. Click on a nearby tower, for example eNB IDxxxxxx.

In the left column, scroll down and make a note of every PCI number listed for that tower.

2) Repeat Step 1 to accumulate lots of PCI numbers for several nearby towers.

3) On the Home Internet App, under Cell Tower Connection Metrics, note the CID number (example: 999).

4) Look for the number 999 on the list of PCI numbers you collected during Steps 1 and 2.

When the PCI number matches up with the CID, you have found the tower your Home Internet device is connected to.
