My wifi box will let me connect to it if the power cord is plugged into it but once I unplug it and it switches to battery it won’t let me connect. My wifi box name won’t even show up as nearby wifi. Anyone else having this problem or could help?
If you are talking about the Tmobile Home Internet 5G gateway that is a silver cylinder, it does not operate on battery. It can only show signal strength on battery to help find the best place to position it. You must plug into AC to fully function.
If you are talking about a portable hotspot, it could be that your battery is no longer able to hold enough charge and needs to be replaced.
