Hi

I need guidance.

Will I be able to unlock Brand New Sealed Google Pixel 6 Pro T-Mobile for use on any carrier worldwide ?

If yes, will there be a waiting period / usd amount to be paid for unlock ?

Kindly advise

Thanks

All T-Mobile phones are sold locked. They must be used on an active T-Mobile plan* for at least 40 days and be fully paid off before they will be unlocked. The idea is that T-Mobile sells phones to support their wireless business, not the other way around.

*Prepaid is different.

Hi

Thanks for replying

What about Prepaid ? Kindly elaborate

If I buy phone online from Amazon / Newegg, Will it be treated as Prepaid ?

How can I unlock it in that case ?

Regards

You're better off buying one direct from Google if you need it unlocked.

T-Mobile’s SIM Unlock Policy is very straight forward for the prepaid and postpaid requirements to qualify for the device to be SIM unlocked.

Thank you all

What about the websites like https://mobileunlocks.com/ & www.mobileunlocked.com ?

They charge about 28USD & get the unlock done.

Any idea ?

Please help

Third party sites can SIM unlock Android devices.  Just make sure any unlocking site you use is not a scam.  Local cellphone repair shops usually.odder unlocking services too.

I really wish there was an official way to unlock a brand new device.

Do not wish to wait for 40 / 365 days

Kindly let me know, if anyone knows

Thanks

Only the Google store sells unlocked Pixels.

You can always temporary unlock the Pixel till you meet the requirements.
