I purchased the Samsung A515G from Walmart it's supposed to be unlocked and when I got the phone it says it's Unlocked in the settings but when the Carrier I'm trying to use goes to check it shows that it's unlocked but it doesn't show anything back from T-Mobile like it's not responding back. Like it's not pinging and not showing that it's unavailable. Anybody know why this would happen?

Did you first insert a Tmobile sim? Those phones are “sold” unlocked but actually locks to the first sim inserted.
