Can non-US resident buy a prepaid US sim card for hotspot device?

If so, what information/document do we need to provide at the T-Mobile shops?

Anyone can purchase a prepaid SIM for T-Mobile USA, whether they are a US Citizen and resident or not.  There are various plans for different types of usage.  Depending on what that is, would help a little more in determining what options might best suit your needs.

You can find more information here.  https://prepaid.t-mobile.com/prepaid-internet

Good luck navigating T-Mobile’s complicated prepay systems.

last visited Us back in 2019. Adding a prepaid service to my iPad was a breeze.

Now you need to have a U.S. Credit/Debit Card billed to a U.S. Billing Address.

Even with that it’s likely the setup will fail. It seems that TMobile Prepaid system for data is broken.

On the other hand the TMobile Prepaid ESIMs iOS app works really well. But costs more money as it is for a phone.
