Has anyone tried to use DIGITS on a emulated Android device? I am running VM VirtualBox. Within this I am running a virtual Android device. I installed the DIGITS app via Google Play. Curiously, if I run the app without maximizing the created window, it asks for my T-Mobile ID - I enter it, and then my password, and click the login button. The little whirly circle appears on the screen, suggesting the information is being processed. After a moment the whirly circle disappears, and the screen is unchanged. There is no error message printed on the screen - but it does seem something is not working right. I do have the virtual device’s wifi working fine, otherwise I would not have been able to download DIGITS from Google Play. The emulated android device only has wifi - there is of course no actually ability to access the cellular network - but that *should* be fine for running DIGITS, or so I am told. For some reason, however, if when starting on the app, I hold the mouse click for an ex
What are the steps needed to transfer my account to my sister?I own my T-Mobile account. My line has no EIP or I have my phone paid off. My sister and husband are under my account with EIP balances. My goal is to transfer ownership of the account to my sister and to have my line removed. I do not wish to keep the number.
So since I got my T-Mobile sim card and transferred to T-Mobile from Sprint my Sprint app no longer works. It can’t identify me on the network. So okay fine, I download the T-Mobile app, set up an account and so forth. Try to log into the T-Mobile app and it says, “looks like you’re a Sprint customer” and sends me back to Sprint. So obviously I can’t check my usage, pay my bill, etc on the app and have to go to the web site itself. Inconvenient to say the least.Anyone have a idea how to deal with this? Your help is appreciated.
emails from GMAIL to the SMS gateway, <phone.#>.@tmomail.net are NOT received as texts.emails from OUTLOOK to the SMS gateway, <phone.#>.@tmomail.net ARE received as texts.google has a gmail application “email to text” whereby one can gmail <phone.#>@sendemailtotext.com and receive text. That is, google has their own email-SMS gateway. When using this app, I DO receive the email as a text.It appears that google is restricting emails to the tmobile email-SMS gateway, @tmomail.net, to force customers to use googles app “email to text”. Did I mention that google charges for the service? Is there anyone who can shed any light on this? Is there anyone who can email <phone.#>.@tmomail.net and receive a text?Thanksfrito
A local T-Mobile representative at a corporate store promised that we could get both the Carrier Freedom and new port-in promotions. After our coverage started, we discovered from the T-Mobile rebate center that we can only receive one of these promotions. Needless to say, we are disappointed as we were excepting our old phones to get paid, and we were also expecting $200 each port-in promotions to be applied for our 2 lines that we brought over ($400 total). We had to email in our Carrier Freedom request due to an issue, and notes were made on our account after the rebate representative conferred with a supervisor. Is T-Mobile required to honor what the local corporate store representative told us? This is really disappointing as we are new customers and this has spoiled somewhat our excitement of switching over. Thank you for any responses. I hope that a T-Mobile representative will read this and make it right.
When I joined T-Mobile, I signed a contract that binds me to their regulations. It seems that contract is one way, and only applies to me, not T-Mobile.The removal of the $5 auto-pay discount using a credit card is a breach of contract on T-Mobile’s part. This company is regularly hacked. Do you really think I want to leave my banking info on their site?Besides, my credit card gives me perks for paying my cell phone bill, helping me bring the outrageously high price we pay for a so-so service.Count me in for the class action law suit!
why did autopay not pay??? first, I had to try at least five times to get it signed up, as i kept getting error messages. now I got a text my bill was not paid, and i go into my account, and it’s still set on autopay. when I pay with the same payment method as set for autopay, the payment goes through. The time suck this company afflicts on its customers is infuriating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello. I recently switched to tmobile and went through hoops to get my virtual rebate card, and yet the card still does not work. I talked with customer service and ended up ordering a physical card a couple days ago after the "access funds" link didn't work after thats what they had told me to do. I have yet to receive the card, but now there is a large purchase on it for instacart in California and I live in Minnesota. I reported the incident to Northlane with a screenshot included, but I have to say that this whole process has been an INCREDIBLE hassle to receive the funds I was promised when switching. Y'all need to use a different company because when I googled this issue, I see time and time again that people are unable to use their rebate cards and there is clearly some fraud going on through Northlane, since someone can clearly use the card I'm unable to use.
I canceled my phone service in May! I know because I transferred my phone number and canceled my account to a new service. Tmobile is trying to charge me for JUNE and send me to collections for $177 which will ruin my credit at an important time ( new born trying to purchase a home). i need my account cleared and NOT SENT TO DEBT COLLECTIONs ive called several time and was told it would be resolved, there was nothing I could do, they would not help me!
I keep getting locked out of my apps because I can never verify with my phone number. I never get the text messages with codes, I can never make online appts to follow links because I never get the links. I have an IPhone and it’s completely updated.
I am having a serious issue with T-Mobile insurance. I purchased a screen protector when I purchased my Samsung Galaxy flip phone, purchased both along with insurance at the store. Months when by, the phone created a line on the screen protector which is expected because it's a flip phone. When I went to the retail store, they said they don't have carry it at the store, they gave me a # to the insurance company to call. I called the insurance company, they said the screen protector is replaced by the store. After getting the round around I called the T-Mobile customer care team, they helped me to placed the order, twice and twice I didn't get the right products. I don't know what is going on with the warehouse, but at least the 2nd time I received the right box saying it is for the screen protector (1st order I received a charger!) but there's no screen protector in the box. I am so frustrated with this screen protector, am I the only one experiencing this with T-Mobile? I seriously do
Hello,Sorry for the long post to follow. Here is what happened to me recently. On Sunday 1/19/2020 around 2:30pm, I noticed that I lost T-Mobile network connection. Everybody around me, including those with T-Mobile network were fine, with 4-5 signal bars. I assumed it was a phone/setting issue, rebooted the phone, reset the network setting, but nothing. Removing the SIM and re-entering did nothing either. I decided to turn off my phone for a little bit then an hour later, when I turned it on, I still had the same issue, WIFI was working though. I decided to try my friend’s SIM to see if it was a phone issue or SIM and network connection came back so it was a SIM issue. I decided to call TMobile with my friend’s phone that evening and they were able to reactivate my phone. I asked them what happened and they said that they were not sure, most likely a glitch.Fast forward to Tuesday morning 1/21/2020 at 4am (I wake up early), I checked my bank account and see that there was a unauthorize
I was already pretty incensed that the upgrade page outright lied in print about the cost, something I meticulously checked over after the fact. Finally decided that wasn’t a fight worth starting, and ordered a phone upgrade, last week. It has been so long that the pending charge has dropped off of my bank. There are no updates or indications of when or why this is happening. I’d like a normal, human answer about this process, and whether I should expect any feedback or updates.
I just literally signed up for a new plan - debit cards have fees for providers too - accessing my bank account isn’t a good approach from a security perspective (noting that T-mobile has been hacked - i wouldn’t have shared this directly with T-mobile customer service but there is not email or chat and I don’t have time for phone calls Action Needed: Update your payment method to receive your AutoPay discounts ACTION NEEDED by 07/17/2023. Is it possible to use a different device on my line without losing the monthly discount towards my EIP balance?
12 months ago, I purchased the iPhone 14 (base model) on a 24-month payment plan, and got on the promotional rebate that reduced my monthly payments to around $8. (P135 2022 Apple Trade P32)I am currently on the Magenta MAX plan.I'm looking to purchase the iPhone 15 Pro Max (without trade-in to avoid paying the rest of the balance and losing out on the monthly discount). If I made the purchase outright on the line with the existing device, would the equipment payment plan and monthly rebate remain in place, or would I need to pay the remaining balance on the iPhone 14?
Hi, I have been trying to add a new line to my account by purchasing a new phone online. I am on an old Simple Choice plan. The issue is there is an add-on which says SC Data 6GB & SMHS for $15/mo that shows up before placing the order and there is no option to remove that add-on. Any idea how to remove this add-on before placing the order? Thanks
I went to the store to change carrier from Mint to T-Mobile because I thought that T-Mobile would be better when I traveled to foreign countries. I signed up for a senior plan that seemed reasonable and the store manager offered me a free iPhone on a plan that still exists but now almost 3 months later a little modified, a little more expensive, but basically the same: https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-phone-plans/unlimited-55-senior-discount-plans?cmpid=MGPO_PB_P_EVGRNPSTPD_43700070661085169_&msclkid=ded60f78a141101c7cda6a76a8374d5a&gclid=ded60f78a141101c7cda6a76a8374d5a&gclsrc=3p.ds I accepted and was told that I would be charged 24 installments for the phone, but that an offsetting credit would also be given. I have called every month because that credit did not appear on my bill. Now I am told that coming from Mint I am not eligible for this free phone. I was not told this all the other times I called. The only possible remedy I am told is to go back to the store where
