Accounts, Plans, Features, and Billing
I honestly don’t think the reps we talk to can read English. I’ve been told that I would get a 3rd line for free back in Aug 2023 and so far T-Mobile has consistently charged me for the 3rd line. Every time I call, they take 20 min to read the memos from previous calls about the same topic, says the issue will be resolved and just how sorry they are about the hassle. I’m about to call them for the 8th time about the same issue and expect to take an hour to resolve the issue that should’ve been fixed 6 months ago and 10 hours of call before.
My wife and I are on the Select Choice FAM UNL TT 60 plan. We have also added my sister to the plan making it 3 lines. Now I am considering adding my brother to the line. I went through the menu to add a line and it says it will cost $25 per month. I want to know how many Gb of hotspot data this includes and if my government worker discount will be taken off this $25. Anyone have any ideas?
I started working with tmobile mid Nov to switch over to them. I was told they were going to send me sim cards to lock in the promotion even though I wasn’t planning on starting service until December. They told me no worries, I wouldn’t be charged until I actually activated everything. Weeks later, many discussions and I’m sure some tears, tons of lies, I finally cancelled the whole thing. I then spoke to a really nice rep who said “call in when you’re ready and we’ll set you up” so I call in and they tell me first I have to go to a store to do this b/c I had an account that was cancelled and secondly I owe them money. I was like “What the hell for? I didn’t ask for anything to be sent.I didn’t ask to create an account” They “credited” my “account” but still. I will never switch to them. What in the world happened to them. Tmobile was so much better when they weren’t trying to be AT&T
January 5th last year T-Mobile was running an $800 off a qualifying phone for a Google pixel 7 or pixel 7 pro.so I took my OnePlus 8T in which was qualifying and they gave me $800 or so they said they did ,when I got my receipt it said they only gave me $37 ,I asked them about it and they said that's just how it comes up on our end, on your bill in another week or so it will show up through the computer normal you'll get your discount. 11 months later I just got off the phone with the lady and she said that the promotion was for a Google pixel 6A not 7 or 7 pro which is a flat out lie. T-Mobile is a scam and I am done with this company after 12 years
Hi,I'm a former T-Mobile customer. I'm involved in an unfortunate child custody case and need to show call records from my step-son to my wife's deadbeat dad ex-husband. Some weeks those calls originated from my phone.I can no longer log into "My T-Mobile" - it tells me the phone number I entered is no longer a T-Mobile number (which is correct, my number was ported to another provider). Is there a way I can gain access to my account or call records while I was a customer?Thank youJim
My phone has a permanent notification re Verified Business Calls that cannot be removed. How do I remove it?Why would I want 100’s of random business calls offering me a discount on a washing machine or some else just because they have paid T-Mobile an advertising fee. Only mentally challenged people who watch the shopping channels all day long would be interested. 99%+ of the people despise random marketing calls.
Received Email from T-Mobile to activate a rebate:https://login.northlane.com/payment/firsttimeuser.doAfter putting in my phone number and the security code, I am getting:T-Mobile Rebate CardPlease make a selection below to receive your paymentWe were not able to validate the information provided. Hello. I recently switched to tmobile and went through hoops to get my virtual rebate card, and yet the card still does not work. I talked with customer service and ended up ordering a physical card a couple days ago after the "access funds" link didn't work after thats what they had told me to do. I have yet to receive the card, but now there is a large purchase on it for instacart in California and I live in Minnesota. I reported the incident to Northlane with a screenshot included, but I have to say that this whole process has been an INCREDIBLE hassle to receive the funds I was promised when switching. Y'all need to use a different company because when I googled this issue, I see time and time again that people are unable to use their rebate cards and there is clearly some fraud going on through Northlane, since someone can clearly use the card I'm unable to use.
My Samsung s20fe was shattered and I could not use it. I put my Sim card in a devixe I borrowed from a friend and I filed a claim on my s20fe. My claim was denied and it said " device not covered " so I contacted assurant they told me that I had to contact tmobile cause this was on their end. So I contacted tmobiles experts and they apologized and said that my it was their fault and my device was infact covered. Told me to file another claim when I tried it wouldn't let me and denied me again when I did file. Tmobile now says there is nothing that they can do because it's been over 90 days so I'm stuck paying on a phone that I don't even have and they will not send me a replacement. It happened in the beginning of December 2021 and it's now May 28 2022 still paying for the phone every month and the insurance... its ridiculous has anyone else had this kind of problem??
I just started with T-Mobile on the Magenta Max 55+ plan. I activated my new phone using the plan 10 days ago. I am noticing that my mobile hotspot data usage goes up a little bit each day and is now at 2.13 gigabytes. But I have all "Mobile Hotspot & Tethering" settings disabled on my phone settings, and they have been disabled all along. So, how am I using mobile hotspot data? I looked at all the apps that have used mobile data on my phone, and "Mobile Hotspot & Tethering" is nowhere in the list, which is as it should be. I am sending screenshots of the top 5 apps under mobile data usage; and showing that all my "Mobile Hotspot & Tethering" settings are disabled. Furthermore, my TOTAL mobile data usage for the 10 days is only 5.6 gigabytes, so this “error” makes up almost half of my total data usage. What happens if I use 100 GB of mobile data, will T-Mobile say I’ve used 50 GB of hotspot data? I was going to try the mobile hotspot feature today for the first time
I have been calling 611 from March 2021 to December 2021 about 20 times per month trying to just simply get assistance regarding billing and technical support; and literally every single one of my calls go to T-Mobiles representatives located in the Philippines, overseas. I have requested to speak to a supervisor, manager, or even T-Mobile complaints department for 10 months. I have taken multiple surveys and explained this same issue. T-Mobile Reps in Philippines then transfer me to T-Mobile Reps in London or UK. Prior to T-Mobile merger with Sprint. Customer Service with T-Mobile any time of the day was awesome, fast, efficient and you were not kept on the phone at all. A T-Mobile team was normally assigned and you even had a follow up call from those team members making sure your services were working properly and questions were completely answered. I do not know what happened since Merger??? My services have been extremely poor-horrible, customer service with T-Mobile has been a co
After my one year uphill battle with T-Mobile customer service, I have decided to contact someone at the corporate office. While trying to find out who to contact concerning all the lies I was told to get me to switch carriers I found a document from CTIA called "Consumer Code for Wireless Service and saw that in my experience with T-MOBILE they violated everything in code 1 through 7 and possibly code 12 yey I'm expected to keep paying my constantly increasing bill for a duration of 2 years for a contract that I unknowingly entered into by one if their lying sales representatives. Code one states that T-MOBILE is to disclose to the consumer" if a fixed-term contract is required and it's duration". I was just told one of my lines gets a free phone. I was also lied to about having service. When I gave the sales rep an address that I spend half the week at I was told "yes! That area has excellent 5G service" . I do not have any service at all in that area or 80% of my drive to that area.
I just literally signed up for a new plan - debit cards have fees for providers too - accessing my bank account isn’t a good approach from a security perspective (noting that T-mobile has been hacked - i wouldn’t have shared this directly with T-mobile customer service but there is not email or chat and I don’t have time for phone calls Action Needed: Update your payment method to receive your AutoPay discounts ACTION NEEDED by 07/17/2023. Tmobile became the worst customer service carrier since they became TMobile USA. The original TMobile customer service was not bad at all.The TMobile USA has the worst, I mean, the worst of all customer service of all any other carriers. Once you ported your numbers out of TMobile, that’s it, they don’t want to help you. They find all kinds of excuses not being able to help you. They keep telling you to call this and that, and when you call them, they told you to go to Store, etc. they keep bouncing you around until you give up calling or inquiring. Plus once your service is not with TMobile any longer, you loose the online access to billing in order to update the billing address for the credit proration. I don’t know why people keep switching over to TMOBILE?
When I joined T-Mobile, I signed a contract that binds me to their regulations. It seems that contract is one way, and only applies to me, not T-Mobile.The removal of the $5 auto-pay discount using a credit card is a breach of contract on T-Mobile’s part. This company is regularly hacked. Do you really think I want to leave my banking info on their site?Besides, my credit card gives me perks for paying my cell phone bill, helping me bring the outrageously high price we pay for a so-so service.Count me in for the class action law suit!
