Digits app problems

I use the digits app for one of my lines and I. Unable to get text messages from certain companies. Is this a normal issue?

Contact Customer Care and ask them to enable shortcodes for that number.

Hey there! Short Codes are only delivered to the physical SIM card and will not be delivered to DIGITS Web Client, DIGITS App, Data with Paired DIGITS, DIGITS Talk and Text or LineLink DIGITS lines.

So...this is a huge shortcoming of DIGITS?  If someone has my DIGITS number, and short code texts are only delivered to the physical SIM card, how do I get these texts, if I only want to give out my DIGITS number to the sender?  Your answer above just makes a statement, but provides no resolution to T-Mobile DIGITS customers.  If the only resolution is to give out the physical SIM card phone number, you should not be afraid to clearly state that.  If there is a workaround, please provide the workaround to be able to get the short code texts that have been sent to a DIGITS phone number.

Digits app my text were cleared how can I get them back?
