I got a new phone for one of the lines in my plan now the color of thst phone changes on the app about 2 times a week and the usage of that line has dropped to next to nothing ehy is that happening.

Perhaps the person is using WiFi a lot more than data. When it comes to the system identifying devices. Some models don’t always show up correctly. That has no impact on how the device performs on the network.
