Would be nice to be able to use a simple chatting feature that’s available if you are not member/login .. but once logged in the feature magically is gone.

Hmm, I see what you mean. If you need help with something specific, you can ask the Community here and crowd source some help. We also have our support site that has loads of how to’s and helpful articles.
