T-Mobile staff transferred “all my data” from a Samsung S20 to a Samsung S24, using Samsung Smartswitch. It worked well on one of two phones. The other phone has lost essentially all of the calendar data, which was stored only on the phone. Only birthdays from the contacts remain. We’ve lost hundreds of critical doctor appointments, meeting dates, travel plans, etc. T-Mobile reset the old phone to factory specs before we discovered the problem. Local T-Mobile staff just shrugged their shoulders. I can’t fathom how Smartswitch would even allow something like this to happen, and have no idea what the T-Mobile staffer did to cause it. My immediate concern is whether there is ANY way to recover the lost data. Any suggestions?
