I’m a current T-Mobile customer buying an unlocked Pixel 6 Pro at Best Buy.

Will I need a new sim or just activate with my current sim?

I do not work for Tmobile and my suggestions and or opinions are my own**.~~~~ The site here is primarily peer to peer with some TMO moderation to keep the site in order..They do not have account access..The prefered method would be to contact TMO through either calling in (tier 1 support) or by contacting them through either Facebook/Twitter (tier 2 support)**~~~~

Thanks to both of you...a new sim card makes total sense. I’ll stop at a store and confirm that. Perhaps they’ll be able to give me the new sim in advance of actually getting the new phone.

This is for those who are here for the same issue as I posted above.

I went to a T-Mobile store and I will need a new sim (for 5G). The good news is the new sim is compatible with my current phone and they went ahead and replaced it now. When the new Pixel 6 comes in I’ll just transfer the sim.
