When does it upgrade to Android 12?

When does it upgrade to Android 12?

Soon: https://www.t-mobile.com/support/devices/software-updates/t-mobile-revvl-v-plus-update-to-android-12

The REVVL V+ was previously listed on the Android 13 page as “In Development” until a few weeks ago.

sooooooooo….how is your “soon” working out for you?

Today we just got a small update (July security patch level) but still no signs of Android 12.

It’s under development.  When it gets finished by Wingtech(They actually make the device and T-Mobile just rebrands them).   Also don’t expect anything after 12.  the 5G came out with 11 not 10.  The previous revvls got 1 and that’s it from my memory.

And suddenly, without warning, one of our REVVL V+ devices updated to Android 12.

Security update: April 5, 2023

Google Play System update: May 1, 2023

Build number: WTRVL_5G_0.20.50

Well this is disappointing. Revvl V+ is no longer on the android upgrade list:

https://www.t-mobile.com/support/devices/software-updates/t-mobile-revvl-v-plus-android-update

In fact, I’m not seeing *any* Revvls on the upgrade list. That doesn’t reflect well on their manufacturer.

revvl v+ has major issues with Ford/Lincoln Sync3 radios/bluetooth. Its a known issue.

Hopefully Android 12 fixes this bug. Both of our revvl v+ cannot connect to our Sync3 radios bluetooth in our cars.

It's been "under development" for months now and status has not changed 😒

thats the Android 13 page. there was mention of it bypassing 12 to go right to 13 but there was never anything on the 13 page showing this.

if yall are still supposed to get 12 there isnt any page that shows 12. only the most current Android update

Exactly. 14 days ago, the day I made my rant, the list still mentioned the revvl v+. BS on T-mobile trying to hide the facts.

Usually entry level phones only get 1 system upgrade and looking at the support page for the phone it started with 10 and was upgraded to 11.

Wronggg... https://www.t-mobile.com/support/devices/software-updates/t-mobile-revvl-v-plus-update-to-android-12

And today, our other REVVL V+ got Android 12, so it’s not a fluke!

interesting. wonder if wingtech pulled it due to not being able to make 13 stable for it? only reason i can think of that would get it pulled from the list.

if its anything like the other 12 releases for other devices theyre running into issues and trying to get a stable update to push out.

Is this phone being rebranded as the REVVL 5+ 5G?

Any updates yet for Android 12?

Hello everyone, after updating to Android 12, when I activate the mobile data to browse the internet I am receiving the error Com.Android.Phone has stopped, after this message the device restarts and when it is uploading it asks me to set factory, I did what I was told but still with the same error.

The device model is: REVVL V+ 5G

The T-Mobile CEO lied, its people lied when they said publicly that this phone was going to be updated. They continue to deceive us saying that the update is in development. When they said they were going to give long -term support to the phone, it was an important point for me to choose the Revvl V+ 5G. It was a misleading advertising. The only thing that stops me from filing a complaint with the FCC or the FTC (whichever applies) is that I can't find the news of the press conference where the CEO said it.

Good news: Looks like the REVVL V+ is now jumping straight to Android 13?

plus if your phone is currently working fine i wouldnt be stomping around about not having 12 yet..it has NOT been a good update pretty much across the board for devices getting it..been a lil rough bug/issues wise.

I’m just hoping that an Android 12 update translates to a longer device lifespan for security updates.

with how bad 12 was i cant say that im shocked.
