I have been asking to have a network unlock on my phone that I bought from Samsung for over 2 weeks!!! All I get from the reps and managers is they put in a request and escalated it and wait 24 to 48 hrs. I have and nothing…… I really need to use my phone out of country and don’t know what to do!!
Why is it so hard to get my phone network unlocked??
Does it meet all the criteria listed at the top of this forum? been on an active account for at least 40 days if its on a postpaid plan or $100 in refils if its on a prepaid plan?
I bought this phone through Samsung outright!! I've had it for 20 months!
The imei# most likely isn't in the system so Tmobile can't unlock it.

if you have your receipt contact T-Mobile Help on Facebook or Twitter. They will contact Samsung to makes sure the device isn’t stolen and Samsung didn’t give them the IMEI to allow T-Mobile to unlock it. No basic customer rep will be able to contact the proper channels to get the IMEI into the database.
