My mother in law has a flip phone that she never uses.  The last few months, we suddenly got charged 300 a month for calls to Morocco and Russia.  They are the same numbers that are called.  My mother in law still has her phone.  Does anyone know how this happened?  SHe said she sometimes leaves her phone in the car.  Is it possible to port the number or something like that?

Very frustrating because tmobile refuses to refund the money and insists that she made the calls - which is impossible.

Anyone have any ideas?

I've heard of stories of  caregivers using the elderlies cell phones to make calls

She lives by herself and does not know any russians.   I have called tmobile.  this happens to flip phone users.  they have credited our account.

I was charged for one international call to a hospital in London that I didn’t make.  I took me 25 minutes with CS to fix it.  BUT that’s less important than a charge for a call I didn’t make. This happened in December 2023.
