5G Network not working after Android 13 Update OP9
My OnePlus 9 5G just got updated to Android 13 automatically. Unfortunately, this update mess up my phone because now my phone isn't working. I can't receive or send calls, signal bars goes on and off and never connects to 5G. Please, If anyone knows how to fix this let me know.
My account says: Use your device in Mexico and CanadaCall, text, and browse in Mexico & Canada. No setup. No roaming charges. Your phone works the moment you arrive. Not for extended international use. Coverage not available in some areas. I have $90 in charges from my husbands phone. Is there a charge for him while there?
Is there any way to speak with an actual english speaking help desk?
It is very frustrating to speak to the folks in the Phillipines when one has an issue. They are polite and trying to help, but the language and cultural differences make things very frustrating. Did I mention frustrating?? It is impossible to get any straight answers, and also there doesn’t seem to be a way to communicate directly with T-Mobile, which is why I am trying here. Please let me know if there is another way...
T-Mobile Home Internet shows 4 bars but keeps dropping signal
Hi. The last month or so, a problem is occurring - the gateway/modem shows 4 bars and has been sitting there for well over two years now. Randomly, I keep getting disconnected from a game server, remote sessions halt, streaming audio stutters, everything. I also have phone calls (from Samsung S22 Ultra) disconnect on me if the phone is using wifi mode for phone calls. If I disable wifi on the phone, phone calls still remain stable. At least for now. I sometimes still have issues with audio stuttering in regular 5G mode, and even testing a game server I got booted off with an error citing connection loss. Whatever it is, the loss is brief since connection comes back quickly. Speedtest shows low ping and low jitter, which surprised me. I logged into the Admin console. Is there an option to switch from 5G mode to 4G, just to rule out some possible causes of this? That sounds dumb since I have 4 bars on the modem and 5 on my phone (which generally connects to the modem’s built-in wifi
Extended range 5G configuration failure
Last year I joined T-Mobile. The coverage map shows this area is covered by extended range 5G, but the T-Mobile 5G hotspot I got would only get 4G no matter what was tried. Also leaving 5G enabled at all killed the 4G connection such that data completely dropped out for a second every 10 seconds.I returned the hotspot and got a Samsung S22+ phone, since 4G data is throttled on everything but phones.The Samsung S22+ had the same issue with extended range 5G, it wouldn't connect and I had to turn off 5G to get 4G working without the regular latency dropouts drops. Both the hotspot and s22+ did work ok on other types of 5G, just not the extended range (band 71) available around my home. Fast forward to this morning. I managed to open a hidden phone settings menu on the Samsung S22+ using a dialer code, and was messing around. Suddenly the phone connected to extended range 5G with 5 bars of signal showing. t mobile gateway throttled
I pay for the 300gb plan, last week my cycle was almost up and I had to add on 25 gbs. Well my cycle ended yesterday and so did the 25gb my home internet is currently unusable. They gave me the run around and sent me 40 miles to get a new gateway… it still doesn’t work now they are telling me it’s just the tower maintenance in my area and there’s a ticket on it. Even though T-Mobile has a tower on their store and we tried the gateway there with the same results won’t even load google…. $150 a month for unusable service is insane. I’m about ready to terminate my service. 4 phone calls and 80 miles in fuel and got nowhere
Your map clearly show 5G coverage where I spent the day Saturday yet I had 0 bars, no service whatsoever. Also, 4 other guys that were with me that had T-Mobile also had 0 bars, no service whatsoever, and we all had different devices. All the other guys I spoke to said once they are out of highly populated areas they often get poor or no service. Please stop lying in your coverage map. Regardless, I’m done with your false claims and after my 2-year period I will be dropping T-Mobile coverage like yesterday’s trash. You’re service may be the least expensive of the big carriers but you consistently lie. Even at my house that shows clearly in 5G UC zone I have one maybe two bars of LTE. Your shenanigans not only lost you a customer but an advocate. I will never advocate for your service because you’ve done nothing to remedy the situation except to make false promises.
In October my wife and I will be in Europe. I don’t suspect that we will be doing a lot of calling but i do expect that we will be texting, downloading data and infrequent calls. What is the best plan?Is it better to just get a burner phone than to do an add on to our existing plan? My existing plan is the Magenta® MAX 55+Thanks
Franklin T10 Hotpot Loses Network Connection Every 12 Days
I have the T-Mobile PrePaid Unlimited Mobile Internet Plan with up to 2GB of 5G & 4G LTE Data. I am using the Franklin T10 Mobile Hotspot. Every 12 days, the network connection disconnects. The WIFI is still working and I can log in to the settings page of the Franklin T10 with a laptop connected via WIFI and I can interact with the Franklin T10. Everything seems fine, except for the LTE network does not have a connection and there is no internet access. I can reconnect to the network and everything is good until, 12 days later, it disconnects again. This happens on a regular basis. I have the Franklin T10 set for “Always On”. Is there some sort of timeout on the T-Mobile side?
HTTPS Verification only failing on mobile data
So basically, about a week ago I stopped being able to use a lot of social media sites, as well as a lot of just general websites. I thought it was the phone, until I got home and it worked just fine. I was looking into every single one of these sites and apps, and they all required https verificationSo basically my mobile data wont allow me to verify on these. There are no account blocks, I’ve cleared that up already, and fiddling around with settings, both by me and one of the store clerks achieved nothing. I’ve already reset the phone and no results. Please help
dropped calls and fading
For about 3 mos or more now our phones calls keep dropping and my internet is sometimes slow. I made a complaint a month ago on the t mobile app. I tried it again but it seems to not respond at all to anything, just says “hi” with t mobile in pink title at the top. My location is Charlotte MI. We stopped in at a T-Mobile store last week and she pulled up something to help her inquire about our location and said that it shows our location’s tower to be slow, that there has been trouble with it. I am not kidding when I say we’re dropping calls and sometimes it doesn’t even go through. I’ve had important calls drop and some of them that can hardly hear me so I have to yell. Drs office, the police station, my husbands work and when he calls me on his cell from any location. This is completely nuts and uncalled for. The price we pay for these services and this crap happens? We came from Metro and we never had any issues of dropped calls. I want to go back but we’re locked in a contract now
ipads not connecting to home internet
I have a 2nd gen and a bit later (2012?) Ipad that have been working fine when connects via WiFi to at&t.However, 2 weeks ago I moved and set up T-Mobile home internet. All my other devices have connected with no issue. A 2013 MacBook Air connected with no issue. The iPads are unable to connect, despite resetting network settings, unplugging modem, etc. The passwords are for sure correct and the devices are able to connect to public networks so not a wholesale WiFi issue on their end. I appreciate any suggestions.

I had n41 all the time and now in morning its n71 until Nokia is rebooted; then n41 is re-instated into the evening. Support suggests congestion. If this were so there is only 900 people within 4 miles of the tower and I doubt there is more congestion in the early mornings than during the day. I have done all the placement changes and most of the suggested methods. Its just been the last 4 days. No firmware updates since last February “328”. Support stated that another tower was being upgraded 5 miles away. I have a friend on TMHI on that tower and he was told they would be finished May 19. I am guessing they turn my tower off at midnight and back on in the morning! lol not.

International calling and text
Hi,I need some qualified help. I have called support three times on my question and have gotten three different answers. Here is my situation. 1) I have an Alcatel flip phone (Model 4052W w/ KaiOS 2.5.2), a $40/month for 2 lines plan with unlimited talk and text, unlimited texting abroad in 215+ countries. I have NO data plan or internet access.2) I will be traveling to Ireland later this month and want to be able to send and receive calls and text from the U.S.3) From my support conversations, I may be charged $3/call & $1/text or $0.25/call & free texts if I sign up for a $50 plan or it depends on if I have roaming turned on. I am confused and no longer trust what’s told me on the phone. What do I need to do to have $0.25/call and free text. If this already included in my plan if I simply turn on roaming? Are there other potential costs involved with turning on roaming?
What is going on with our cell service?
What is happening with the cell service in Henderson, NV? Calls keep dropping or can’t make a call at all. We’ve tried to call each other and going straight to voicemail at times. Video calls are very poor quality and then disconnect taking several minutes to get another call through. Sometimes saying “emergency calls only”. I get to a certain spot when driving up to our house and notoriously disconnects in the same spot and unable to reconnect until I get inside the house, which is also sketchy at times now. This is what was happening with Boost mobile before we switched to Tmobile which was why we switched . Everything was good for several months, now the service is horrible. Our son has Tmobile also with a different account and he receives notices about cell tower maintenance in the area, but we never got the same notification. This is starting to become a safety issue.
