So, I seem to come across conflicting info on web searches. Surprise! We will be traveling to Puerto Rico in a couple of weeks. We have Magenta Max 55+ plans that are basically unlimited everything including premium data. I chatted with am agent and the rep first said we had unlimited data “up to” 5g and unlimited text and $0.25/min calls. Later they said we had the same coverage as in the US, but should make sure to turn on roaming. My plan details only say:“Benefit DetailsData and texting while abroadStay connected with unlimited text and data at up to 256Kbps speeds in 215+ countries and destinations.”Does T-Mobile consider Puerto Rico as “abroad” for US customers even though it is a US territory? It looks to be included on the coverage map here (https://www.t-mobile.com/coverage/coverage-map), but that may just be coverage-specific and not plan-specific.At https://www.t-mobile.com/support/coverage/international-roaming-services, it says“A data pass not only gives you access to the h
I tried to chat with customer service to request cancellation of my service at the end of the current cycle, on 16 December. They instead tried to sell me a new subscription which I declined. They went ahead an cancelled my service immediately, and now I can’t access certain services, including my multi-factor authentification. My mobile app has also been disconnected, and i have no means of asking them to correct this mistake.
why I am no longer getting good quality of international call to Taiwan after daylight saving ended.
hi, I am no longer to get good quality of international call to Taiwan after daylight saving ended. My usual time to call my parents in Taiwan, usually around 9p-10p( central time) in the States. Before daylight saving time ended, I did not have issues. But after that, huge issues every time I tried to call. It has been for at least 2 weeks now and did not get any better. thanks,w.c. Jessica
I am travelling out of the USA and installed a local SIM using a local service provider. I have already disabled my T Mobile E-Sim before installing this local SIM. My bill amount has increased substantially. ON checking I find that T-Mobile has billed me for calls made with the local SIM. Is there a way to chat with customer service
My son is traveling in the Mediterranean on a Navy Supply ship. It's not a cruise ship with it's own network. He could pick up different countries as he goes, but let's say Greece and Italy. Both of them are in the 215 country list. He has the Global Plus 15 GB travel plan that should be 15 GB data and unlimited calls and text messages. Does Data Roaming have to be on or off? I've gotten multiple different answers when calling T-Mobile! Very frustrating! Thank you for the help!
Hi, I want to set up port forwarding for my minecraft server. I put the external port and internal port correctly, in internal host I put the IPv4 of the host machine and in external host I want it to be ALL possible IPs. I can’t make multiple port forwarding rules because it gives me a port conflict error. I also dont know what to put in the service box. I tried setting up a DMZ but it didnt change anything.
I am in a country where I have GB of high-speed data. However, my hotel room does not have wireless internet so I want to tether my phone to my laptop. The T-Mobile web page on international data says I can use my 5 GB for data on my phone but I cannot share with other devices by tethering through a smartphone mobile hotspot. I want to tether my phone to my laptop through a USB cable. Is that the same as a mobile hotspot or can I do that without any extra charges?
I have the One plan military plan and travel to Europe about once a week for my job (airline pilot). I have had the global 15gb plan added for an extra $50 a month for the last 3 years. I went on vacation to Sicily for 3 weeks this September. I used google maps on cellular and received a couple of text messages about excessive roaming. I apparently went over the limit and now I have zero international data because T-mobile put a block on my account. I was told there is no way to remove this. I cancelled my global plan and am still blocked even though I get a text when I get to Europe saying I have unlimited data at 256kbps. I was just informed after talking to a representative that in a few weeks time they are going to cancel my phone line! Unreal that it is one strike and you are out. This is going to make me cancel 6 lines with Tmobile and moving on to Verizon. Nothing that anyone can do. Beware of exceeding this limit. I was under the impression that I had 15GB like my plan said, bu
My family and I are traveling in Europe for about 2 months. We have the Magenta Max plan which says that there is unlimited international data roaming, however, the fine print states that data usage might be blocked or charged for ‘significant roaming’. Last summer on a similar trip, we ended up with a huge bill for data roaming. What is considered excessive roaming? And how can we keep track?
Be very careful when purchasing an international pass. It’s a bit of a scam when it comes to cruises. They don’t apply. Be sure not to waste your money because they charges are astronomical compared to international. Nowhere on the contract does it warn you about it not apply to cruise, SO THIS IS YOUR WARNING. I was not only charged for the pass but also for whatever the cruise ship charged T-mobile, though my contract was not with the cruise ship nor did any of the paperwork tell me this information.
Hello, my question is a bit simple and probably was easy to understand for others than myself. Are the international data pass add-ons per line or for all the lines in your plan together? As in if I add on the 15 day pass, would that only apply to my phone or collectively for all the lines on my plan?
