It states it will work with Tmobile but it does need to be VoLte compatible with the Tmobile network to be activated.

I want to say no as other dual sim versions of Sony devices do not work on VoLTE on US carriers from what I remember. Things may have changed, but I haven’t heard any changes.

Great news! I was able to confirm today that the checker verifies that the IMEI provided is VoLTE compatible, so if the tool has all green checks, then the device is good to go.
