There’s a small hole in the same area as the SIM card holder. You can use a straightened paper clip to push the button inside. Push and hold (about 10 seconds) until the unit says it’s factory resetting. That’s it.

It depends on the phone you have. Most devices can be easily reset through the Settings. If you search the Settings on the device for Factory Reset. It should come up in the search results.
