I have a used prepaid sim card from a few months ago, can i reuse it for a new prepaid plan without visiting a T mobile store?

Once a SIM is deactivated from an account. It can not be used again.
not to mention if the number has not been used in a certain amount of time the number itself will go into a pool to be recycled again to someone else. i think its a 60 or 90 day window.
