I have had T-Mobile home internet with the grey Nokia tower in a Seattle suburb for about 6 months. It randomly loses the internet signal and the only way to restore it is to power cycle the tower. For the time period 4/14 to 6/17, the tower has lost the signal 77 times at random times. At the beginning of April I purchased a device called Keep Connect and it monitors the internet connection. If the connection is lost, it power cycles the tower. It doesn't solve the real problem, but it does automate the restart process.
