I’m stating the “obvious” here….but if you’re using WiFi to test your speed, and you have a weak signal to the router, or are on a 2.4 Ghz band, you may not be getting very good test speeds independent of the tower. Thanks, but I think not applicable. These were the readings I got directly from the router when I reset it. Of course the reading was displayed on my TV right next to the router, so i suppose wifi was involved, but i was not running a test.
Yes. There are plenty of people on the Forum who have documented working with Tech Support who were able to change something on the gateway, or its interface with the tower, that really made a difference. I will keep trying to contact Tech Support, and not on a Sunday night! TNX for the encouragement.
