Can't the T-mobile mobile phone number receive verification? You can only log in to T-mobile ID by email

The reason may be Network or technical issues, Incorrect contact information, Blocked or filtered messages and If you're unable to receive verification messages on your T-Mobile mobile phone number, I recommend reaching out to T-Mobile's customer support directly. They will have access to your account information and can provide you with specific guidance and assistance to resolve the issue.

It can, depending on what type of verification depending on the service you have.  Prepaid is very hit and miss because there is no customer info or Social associated with a prepaid account.  Postpaid should have no issues receiving any sort of verification type texts.
