Charged after return of phone

I damaged my iPhone XR, and filed a claim through T-Mobile. I received the replacement phone, and turned in my damaged phone, I then got charged $300 for the phone that I HAD ALREADY TURNED IN. I work long hours, so I had my gf call for me throughout the day. She got a representative that had an attitude and didn’t help our case whatsoever. Does anyone have an idea of how to get my money back?

Have you tried contacting Tmobile support using messenger on one of tmobile's social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter?  They are a higher tier of support and maybe can help.
