Just bought an I-phone SE 2 and have T-mobile service. Currently my phone rings 10-15 seconds before going to voicemail. I want to reduce the time the phone rings before voicemail.
In theory, you can use GSM service codes to change the time delay (not rings) before calls forward to voicemail. My recent attempts to do this have not worked.
i want less than 5 seconds!
25 July 2024 - you can’t change number of rings, you change the number of seconds when voicemail activates on your line
from tech support:
- open a call screen as normal like you would normally do when you make a call
- dial this string of characters and numbers
**61*18056377243**5#
the 5# at the end is the number of seconds before voicemail is activated. The times are 5 second increments (5, 10, 15, up to 30)
