I bought Iphone 14 pro in September and I moved to Indonesia.
So I fully paid for my phone before I came here and when I was paying for the device, t mobile expert said that it has been fully unlocked.

On my setting, it still says SIM Locked and it is not working here.
I called T mobile more than 10 times, they say that it’s been fully unlocked but my phone says it is still locked! I even tried to scan a new esim on the phone it says I need to contact the original carrier to unlock the phone.

Every time I called all they say is the device is fully unlocked.
I was even connected to Apple experts but they could not help me with anything. Apple suggested me to reset the phone, which I have tried.

Now I don’t know what to do. It’s been more than two weeks and I’m not able to use this phone that I’ve paid $1000 for.

Please help!!!

Similar issue - iPhone XR says No Sim after a factory reset. With customer service, we figured it out after a while. First, another shutdown/restart. Some signal strength bars appeared. Then it turns out that the XR is not compatible with 5G in our area. Calls still went to voicemail. Turn on cellular data and it worked. It took a while but at least they figured it out.

Don’t hold your breathe waiting for T-Mobile tech support to solve your issue. I was made to purchase a $140.00 phone because the very phone I was texting on 1 hour before went wanky.

I took it to a T-Mobile store and they said their network doesn’t support it. I told the sales girl that it was on their network 1 hour ago, and she looked at me like I was an idiot and said and I quote “Don’t you understand what I just told you?”

Now I own a $140 brick.
