Wife MUST have a landline phone for a heart pacemaker monitor. Is a landline possible when switching to T-Mobile?

Yes, you can have a landline in parallel with TM home internet service. You can answer calls on the landline and use Tam for internet access.

T-Mobile does not offer landline service.  T-Mobile's phone services are all cellular.  T-Mobile's Home Internet uses the same cell towers as the cellular service.  These do not impact any landline services you have.

@ZHMMY we assume that you already have landline service through ATT or alike.

I have read some posts in this forum indicating that they could not get VOIP to work with the T-Mobile gateway.  For a critical need, you probably don’t want to take a chance or be aggravated fighting with it.

Check out Ooma on Amazon. We needed a land line for our condo pool (911) only. And it’s only $7.00 month.  We have it hooked to our TM 5 g router.

VOIP lines are not landlines!  They rely on the internet to work and aren't usually compatible with TMHI.
