So, I just got a gateway router or whatever it is, and it won’t connect to my xbox 360. I’ve tried using ethernet, and changing the security settings and the frequency. Just wondering if anyone knows how to fix this
following.
i had minimal success with 1 step.
need to go through the app on your phone and setup 2 wifi connections for your router.
create 1 frequency with just 2.4 speed ( for xbox 360. its pre 5g)
create a 2nd with just 5g .
day shift support can help with this.
that worked for a few days, but now I am also back to being dropped every few minutes.
plan on calling again in morning.
if the router is in the same room hard wire that bad boy. only time you’ll have issues is if the router is having issues. wont have a need to change anything at that point.
I don't know if this will help much but I spent 2.5 hours on the phone with support. Unplugging this, changing that, creating networks. Plugging in my old router and getting it all set .... after all that.... the guy on the phone said, " Maybe t-mobile is not compatible with 360.. " Smoke came out of my ears. I said "MAYBE!!?? ARE you joking me ...???? You don't know? And we just spent 2.5 hours trying. I'll be canceling very soon
